The Five Dials, Horton, Somerset
A popular village pub that has some very good local ales, craft ciders, and the famous Somerset Cider Brandy that’s made at Burrow Hill nearby. Of an evening the bar has a very convivial atmosphere, when the locals come in to exchange chit-chat; in the summer you can sit outside in a tropical garden – in Somerset! Food is good, traditional pub style but with a contemporary twist, and it’s all fresh and seasonal, with ingredients locally sourced. From the mains try herb crusted hake, pea and sorrel risotto, or pheasant, red wine & juniper pie with suet pastry. Very tempting, isn’t it?
Open: Tues-Thurs 11.00am-3.00pm and 5.00pm-11.00pm Fri-Sun 12.00-11.00pm Closed Mondays.
