The Bell Inn, Curry Mallet, Somerset
When you're walking or driving through the village of Curry Mallet and you see The Bell Inn it just makes you want to go in. It still looks like a very welcoming house, with creepers growing up the walls, and a little garden behind a white painted fence. It's got all the traditions a village pub should have - it's family friendly and dog friendly and inside it's very relaxing with a double-sided wood-burner keeping it warm in the colder months. They serve decent pub grub including home made beef burgers and chillis, and they cater well for vegetarians, with temptation such as aubergine, courgette and leek lasgane, and mixed bean chilli. They also do take-aways, every Friday is Steak Night and of course, it's roast on Sundays.
