Puzzlewood, Coleford, Gloucestershire

Another great attraction in the ancient Forest of Dean, Puzzlewood is said to be the inspiration for the forests of Middle Earth in J R R Tolkien’s Lord of the Rings, and it’s easy to see why – Puzzlewood is a magical, enchanting world of rustic timber pathways snaking through twisted tree roots and gulleys of moss covered rocks, with lots to find as you go round – secret caves, magic doorways and dinosaur feet wait to be discovered. There are animals to see, an outdoor and indoor mazes, a playground, and a gift shop and café; an exciting day out for all ages!
