This access statement does not contain personal opinions as to suitability for those with access needs, but aims to accurately describe the facilities and services offered to all guests/visitors. This statement has been drawn up by the owner(s) of Frog Street and therefore Sleeps12 do not accept responsibility for any omissions or inaccuracies. By train - The nearest train station is at Taunton, approximately 10 miles distant. Taxis are usually available from the station.
By car - You will find detailed directions in your check-in information once you have made a booking.
The entrance to the car park (space for 6 cars) is through a wooden gateway and a sign to the right of the gateway. Three small sleeping policeman accross the entrance before the gateway. The car park is lit to main parking area with solar lights.
Key Collection, Welcome and Car Parking
The key to the property is held in an external key safe main entrance porch. Details of the key safe combination will be given prior to arrival.
All keys are the responsibility of the rental guests and we advise that you always use the key safe during your stay.
There is one small step (100mm) folowed by 2 steps of 200mm to the front porch
Entrance to Property
The Front door is accessed from the porch over a 50mm threshold and through a 1.1m wide front door.
The front door leads directly into the dining room (5.3m x 5.6m) which has flag stone floor with wall lights. There is a large table which can easily seat 14 guests .
Off the dining room is a door measuring 750mm leading to the kitchen (6.5 x 3.2m) with ceramic wood effect tiled floor. The kitchen has a range cooker with 5 ring ceramic top, american style fridge, with chilled water and ice dispenser, a wine cooler, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer and a small pantry.
A second door measuring 940mm from the dining room leads into the lounge (6.8 x 5.3) which has carpets and wall lights. There is a raised walkway in this room which has a 100mm step down to the main living area.
There is a large flat screen TV, DVD and seating for at least 12 guest , along with wood burning stove with logs provided.
Off the lounge through a 900mm door over a 25mm threshold into the games room (5.3 x 3.3m) with carpet flooring amd wall lights there is a 3 in 1 table for pool, air hockey and table tennis.
From the games room down a slight ramp and through a 1.1m doorway into a hallway which has access to bedroom 6 and the external courtyard. The hall has a ceramic wood efffect floor
Bedrooms and Sleeping Areas
From the lounge the main staircase (13 closed steps with 150mm risers, full length handrail) leads to 4 main unstairs bedrooms.
Bedroom 1 - Orchard Suite - Through a 750mm doorway an up a step of 150mm, the room measures 5.8m x 4.1m. The floor is carpet with wall lights. Zip and Link beds with option of of 2 additional pull out beds. A 700mm doorway leads through the dressing area (2.8m x 1.8m) and a shared bathroom.
The bathroom (2.8m x 2.35m) is accessed through a doorway which is 700mm wide. The floor is wood with spotlights in the ceiling. Shower cubicle which has a 250mm step up and a roll top bath 640mm high.
Bedroom 2 - Orchard Suite - the bedrrom is 3.6m x 3.6m and accessed through a 750mm doorway. Carpet and a pendant light. Zip and link beds. Overlooks the court yard garden
Bedroom 3 - Garden Room - Accessed through a 730mm doorway. Room 3 is on two levels as you enter the bedroom the first area is 2.1 x 1.95m with a king size bed. The room is carpet with wall lights. TV. The en-suite bathroom (1.6m x 2.6m) is from the first level area and is accessed through a 730mm doorway, up a 150mm step the room has wood floor and spotlights in the ceiling. The bath is 540mm high.
Bedroom 4 - Willow Room - The bedroom (3.3 x 3.55m ) is accessed through a 750mm doorway with carpets and wall lights. Zip and Link beds. TV. The En-suite (2.5x 1.7m) is accessed through a 700mm doorway and has a shower cubicle with a 290mm step up.
Bedroom 5 - accessed from the hallway through a 750mm wide door to a set of carpeted stairs with 14 closed couple with 200mm risers which are 800mm wide. The bedroom (3.9 x 3.7m) is carpeted and has pendant lighting. Zip and link bed. Access to the en-suite (2.1m x 2.1m) is through a 750mm doorway. Wood flooring with spotlights in ceiling. Walk in shower cubicle with 450mm opening and a 100mm step up. There is a roll top bath which is 620mm high.
Ground Floor Bedroom
Bedroom 6 - Through a 750mm doorway into Bedroom 6 (3.1 x 1.2m) this room has laminate flooring with pendant lighting, zip and link beds. Access to the en-suite (3m x 1.2m) is via a 700mm sliding doorway the floor has ceramic tiles and walk in wet room with a 500mm opening, the shower is overhead with a seperate handheld hose.
From the hallway through a 1.1m doorway over a 100mm threshold and then down a one step 130mm high to the courtyard front garden which is 18m x 4m covered veranda (10m x 3m).
Long dining table which seats up to 14 guests. There is access (750mm wide ) from this courtyard garden down 2 x 150mm steps to the driveway and across to the main garden.
The Main Garden
Measures 65m x 20m
BBQ lodge is 16sqm plus the extension and is located to the right of the main garden patio up one step 150mm and over the 100mm threshold, which will seat 14 people on 450mm high bench seating. Mini kitchen with a 1m high worktop, sink and 2 fridges.
Swim Spa Pool and Hot Tub (NB: Children must be supervised at all times)
The swim spa pool is heated, measuring 5m x 4m and has a constant depth of 1.1m it is houses in a lodge 8m x 5m, with a 2.4m x .45m bench on the left for changing, there is a large decked area around the lodge and to the left is a hot tub for up to 6 persons, with a set of moveable steps, 2 x 200mm for access, directly in front of this is a bench seating 500mm high with a low table.
Childrens Play Area
In front of the lodge down 2 x 150mm decking steps is the main grasssed area with a football goal and 2 childrens swings, surrounded by post and rail fencing.
