East Devon Way, Devon
Lace up your boots and get out and explore the East Devon Way! This 40 mile long walking route runs from Exmouth to Lyme Regis just over the border in Dorset and along its course it takes in some of the most spectacular scenery – wide open fields, rolling hills, steep wooded combes, and get this – it crosses no less than five rivers! You’ll find historic landmarks, quiet villages, and pubs and tea rooms where you can stop for refreshments, so pick a nice day and make the most of it.
The first stage covers 9 miles from Lyme Regis to Colyton, if you’re starting East to West, and the second is 6 miles from Colyton to Farway, but have a look at the maps and do as much or as little as you like. Whatever you do you’ll enjoy discovering the beauty of the East Devon landscape.
