Cotswold Wildlife Park, Burford, Gloucestershire

All the family can explore the 160 acres of parkland at the Cotswold Wildlife Park, including wonderful gardens with a stunning tropical house. See the giraffes, camels, lions, wolves, and giant tortoises, plus birds and amphibians, and many, many more – don’t forget the lemurs and the warty pigs! Watch the penguin feeding or the big cats having their dinner, take a ride on the narrow gauge railway, or have a go at brass rubbing. The young ‘uns can let off steam running around the expansive lawns or in the adventure playground, and they can get close up to animals in the Children’s Farmyard. Browse the gift shop for a souvenir to take home, and when you’re hungry find a pleasant spot for a picnic or tuck into some delicious food at the Oak Tree Restaurant. You’ll find refreshment kiosks dotted around (seasonal), and dogs are welcome on leads, so even the family pooch can come along.
