Clayhidon, Devon
A quiet backwater on the Devon part of the Blackdown Hills with views of the beautiful Culm Valley. It’s a village of narrow lanes, old houses and small cottages, and a strong community. There are lots of footpaths around the parish, taking you through a picturesque landscape of pastures, hills and the river valley; make sure you plan it so that you end up at the Half Moon Inn for refreshments. This sort of thing is mann for the soul when you're relaxing on your large group holiday.
