Cannington Adventure Centre, Nr Bridgwater, Somerset
Although Cannington Adventure Centre is owned and operated by Bridgwater College, it’s open to the public so you can book up to go and have fun on the high ropes and low ropes courses, or on the climbing walls – a brilliant idea for those who like a challenge and adventure when you’re on your large group holiday in Somerset. There will need to be at least 8 of you and it stands to say you should wear sensible clothing. When you arrive you’ll be given a safety briefing from qualified and experienced instructors, then you’re all good to go release your inner Tarzan.
They also have a large indoor area with a choice of activities, and they do exciting children’s parties, and the centre is easy to find, in the village of Cannington, not far off the M5. Wind down afterwards with a visit to the very peaceful Walled Gardens of Cannington or go and have a pootle around the beautiful Quantock Hills.
