Bulkington, Devizes, Wiltshire

It’s all rather quintessentially English here in Bulkington, which is nice, isn’t it, in this day and age when there’s so much bad stuff going on in the world and everyone’s caught up in the hectic pace of modern life? Here you can breathe, you can sigh, and you can feel life slow down. There’s a war memorial on the green, a tubby little church, a busy pub and restaurant, The Well, which does very good food, and of all things, a model railway where you can have sit on rides and pootle along the 1000ft long track with a 40ft tunnel and working signals; something the kids might like.
