Fish & Chips, they say, are the nation’s favourite, so if that’s what you fancy when you’re having a stroll around Burnham-on-Sea when you;re on your group holidays in Somerset, get yourselves round to Brit Chips and out your order in. You can have lightly battered cod, plaice or haddock with your chips, but maybe there’s something else you’d prefer, like a pasty or a pie, maybe faggots or half a chicken. Have what you will and choose your own trimmings – they do them all, onion rings, pineapple fritters and even bread rolls so you can make yourself a tidy chip butty. They do jars of cockles and tubs of ice cream too, just like the good old days!
