The House
Step inside the porch of this boutique-style retreat and into the reception/dining room; the feels are so gentle, it's like coming home. At one end of the room there’s comfy seating and a wood-burner, in the middle there’s a hefty dining table for happy family dinnertimes, and at the other end are the stairs.
Straight ahead of the dining room is the well-equipped Shaker style kitchen, with views over the river, and a built-in settle and table. A door opens onto the riverbank, the perfect spot for coffee in the morning or a drink at sundown.
Left of the kitchen is the living room, with 4 sofas, a TV and a wood-burner. A lobby leads to a WC and shower room, and straight ahead is the playroom where doors open onto the garden at the front of the house.
Over the other side of the house there’s a utility room and loo, and the games room where you can play pool, table football and table tennis, French doors open to the hot tub, set beneath an arbour.
Bedroom 1 is on the second floor, with its own shower room, and breathtaking views across the fields; Bedrooms 2-4 are on the first floor, along with a family bathroom and a separate shower room.
Idle away the hours in the garden, sizzle sausages on the barbecue while the kids run and play on the lawn, the swings, the wooden pirate boat and in the living willow hut.
The days will be long and happy, the nights will be so restful. That’s how it is at Dallybank, it’s part of the magic, it makes the memories so precious…
