Wye Valley Sculpture Garden, Tintern, Monmouthshire

Art, plants and wildlife come together at this exquisite organic garden tucked away on the slopes of the lower Wye Valley. Ancient woodland, lush herbaceous borders, a pond, orchard and meadow all create a habitat rich in wildlife, with the backdrop of the spectacular countryside of Monmouthshire.
The sculptures are made from locally sourced materials and handcrafted by an artist who lives close by; these works of art have been thoughtfully placed around the gardens to work in harmony with the layout and the plants; with the natural forms and cycles in the garden.  The people who live here are professional ecologists and botanists and you’ll often see them weeding in the borders; maintaining something this beautiful is constant, but what they’ve created is beautiful so go, see and appreciate.
