Watchet Harbour Beach, Somerset
Wait for the tide to go out and the beach at Watchet Harbour is revealed; a half mile expanse of sand and rocks that has no dog restrictions, but you'll need your boots and you'll need to keep an eye on the tide - it can come back in pretty quickly! Watchet is a lovely little town with plenty of character; when you've had a stroll, get some fish and chips from the Harbour Fish Bar or sit outside the Esplanade Club with a drink and watch the world go by.
