Raglan Farm Park, Raglan, Usk, Monmouthshire

If you’ve got children under secondary school age, we highly recommend a visit to Raglan Farm Park near Usk when you’re on your group holiday in Wales. This makes a fantastic day out with plenty of fun for the little ones and a glorious setting amidst miles and miles of Monmouthshire countryside.

Raglan Farm Park is a working farm so you get a taste of what life is like for farming folk and what’s nice is that they give all visitors a short personal tour. You can go and say hello to the animals that live here; there are sheep, ponies, goats, alpacas, donkeys, chickens and turkeys, rabbits, oh and so many more! Depending on the time of year you can see lambs being born, baby emus hatching and baby donkeys prancing about.

Kids just love Ragland Farm Park so much because there’s so much for them to do whatever the weather’s like – there’s heaps of outdoor and indoor space including 7 soft play areas, zip wires, swings, slides, roundabouts, trampolines, ride on tractors and go-karts. If they start to get peckish pop along to Fran’s Kitchen (open 10.00 am-3.00 pm) for a burger or a hot dog or grab a picnic bag, and before you go, be sure to have a good look around the farm shop where they sell local goodies including veg, cheese, jams, chutneys and drinks, and well worth getting for your Sunday roast, their own meat reared on the farm.

Open 10.00 am-5.00 pm every day      Sorry no dogs
