Exeter Underground Passages, Exeter, Devon
Have a guided tour of these medieval vaulted passageways deep beneath the hustle and bustle of Exeter's busy city centre. These are the only passageways of this kind open to the public in the whole country and were originally built to bring clean drinking water from springs outside the city walls. It’s dark and narrow and a little confined in places so if you suffer from claustrophobia you might not like it! Advanced booking is essential, and note that the tours are not suitable for children aged under 5 years.
