Croftview - Access Statement

Croftview is a luxury contemporary house that sleeps up to 30 guests in 13 en suite bedrooms and has a spa hall with an indoor swimming pool, hot tub and sauna.
There is one bedroom on the ground floor, 8 on the first floor and 4 on the second floor. The ground floor bedroom is access friendly and has a pull down wardrobe rail; there is an ensuite wet room with an emergency cord, grab rails and a fold down shower seat. A shower stool is available on request.
This property also offers 1 ramp on request.
By train: The nearest train station is at Crewkerne, just under 15 minutes by car. Crewkerne station is on the Waterloo to Penzance line.
By bus: South West Coaches 96 96A Y9 stops at Crewkerne train station, or the number 9 bus route calls at the crossroads in the village (Hinton St George).
Taxis: Crewkerne Taxis (01460 75088) and MP Taxis (01460 73009) are recommended.
By car: You will be given detailed directions in your check-in information once you have made a booking.
Grocery deliveries: Dart Fresh, Waitrose, Tesco, Sainsbury’s and Asda will deliver to this property .
Equipment: A ramp can be provided to aid access into the house. On the ground floor, Bedroom 1 has an en suite wet room; a shower stool can be provided if required. Other accessibility items can be arranged via independent providers such as The Red Cross.
A gated private road leads to the car park at Croftview; this has room for 16+ cars. There is then a slight slope to gates through to the courtyard.
Access from the car park to the house is level with no steps. There is adequate sensor activated lighting covering the car park and entrance to the house.
There are 3 EV charging points at Croftview.
All guests will be welcomed by the property manager and will be given a tour of the property.
All keys are the responsibility of the rental guests and we advise that you always use the key safe during your stay.
Entrance to Property
There is a small threshold step 35mm high through the main door into the house. A ramp is available for this but must be requested prior to your arrival.
The width of the entrance door is 880mm.
There is laminate flooring on the ground floor and first floor, and carpet on the second floor.
There are ceiling spot lights and table lamps throughout the property.
Access to the large open plan kitchen, dining area and lounge is via the main entrance hall.
All door widths are 880mm and all thresholds are level.
There is underfloor heating throughout the ground floor.
The open plan kitchen, dining area and lounge is a large and spacious room with bi-fold doors that open onto the patio at the back of the house.
Ground Floor Bedrooms
There is one ground floor bedroom at Croftview. It has an en suite wet room, a TV with a full Sky packages, Netflix, Amazon and Freeview.
The bed is zip and link bed and can be arranged as a super king or twins.
There is laminate flooring with underfloor heating.
There are bedside lamps and ceiling spotlights.
The first and second floors are accessed via oak and glass staircases at either end of the house. The stairs are 980mm wide and have a tread depth of 280mm.
First Floor Bedrooms
All first floor bedrooms have laminate flooring, TVs with a full Sky package, Netflix, Amazon and Freeview, and bedside lamps and ceiling spotlights.
Beds are all zip and link (super king or twins).
Second Floor Bedrooms
These are carpeted and have zip and link beds, with the exception of bedroom 10 which has a superking bed.
There are TVs with a full Sky package, Netflix, Amazon and Freeview, bedside lamps and ceiling spotlights.
The gardens are about 1600m2 in total.
There is a large paved courtyard at the front of the house and a level paved patio at the back of the house, accessed via double doors from the open plan kitchen, dining and lounge area, and from the games room.
There are steps with a handrail down to the lawned area.
The BBQ hut is not suitable for wheelchair users as there are steps down into it from the path and to access it from the other side is only possible via a grassed slope.
Swimming Pool (NB: Children must be supervised at all times)
Access to the spa hall is through secure doors via a short hallway off the Games Room.
The pool measures 10m x 5m with an even depth of 1.2m. There are steps at one end to aid access.
There is a 1.8m tiled walkway around the pool.
The sunken hot tub is circular, measuring 2.3m in diameter.
There are 2 steps with a hand rail down into it and it is approximately 80cm deep.
The sauna measures 2.0m x 2.4m. It has a level threshold.
