There are actually 6 markets that make up the collective Camden Market in north west London, but they’re all very close together, and wow, what a vibe! This is another of those parts of the city where the hip and the cool have tended to hang out since it started in the 1970’s. These days there are over 1,000 shops, stalls, bars and cafes, with unique and quirky being major buzzwords; if you like kooky and unconventional then go and have a mooch round. You’ll find vintage, original fashions, unique gifts and lots of handmade. The atmosphere is upbeat and vibrant, especially down by the canal at Camden Lock.
