Cheltenham is the Home of Jump racing
A theatre of excellence that really can elevate you to a sporting high.
Cheltenham is at the heart of almost every aspect of Jump racing. This is the place where owners, trainers, jockeys, stable staff and breeders dream of having winners. It's the place where the most important races are run. This is where many stars of the future go through the sale ring. But most of all, this is the place where the equine and human champions forge their reputations.
As always, there is much to look forward to in the season, 16 exciting days of top class Jump racing. Hundreds of thousands of racing fans come to Cheltenham every year, but you don't need to be an expert to have the time of your life.
The wide variety of experiences ranges from the relaxed feel of the meetings in October and April, to the heady excitement of The Open and the family fun of New Year's Day.
However, the focus of any jumping season is always The Festival. The Festival at Cheltenham is the shining jewel in Jump racing's crown. It is four days of magic, magnificence and madness, played out on a stage framed by the breathtaking vista of the Cotswold Hills. It features a cast of the best horses, jockeys and trainers playing to an audience of 260,000 people, all of whom are determined to have the time of their lives.

THE MALVERN HILLS AND COMMONS
The Malvern Hills have been described as a mountain range in miniature; the eight mile ridge contains some of the oldest rocks in Britain and their craggy outline is reminiscent of the uplands further west into Wales. A walk in the Hills is strenuous enough that Mallory walked here in preparation for his ascent of Everest. Today you can enjoy over 3000 acres of open countryside climbing to the highest point at Worcestershire Beacon or relax whilst quietly rambling along the wooded slopes.

Try Something New!
Huntingdon Hall is Worcester’s premier live music and entertainment venue. Countess of Huntingdon’s Chapel was a thriving Methodist church in the early 18th Century. By 1970, the building closed as a chapel until the late 1970s when it was purchased by the City Council with the view of redeveloping the site. With financial support from the City and County Councils, Huntingdon Hall re-opened in 1987 as a concert venue. 25 years later and Huntingdon Hall is a leading venue for folk music, is becoming increasingly well known for great comedy and welcomes all types of entertainment; classical music, jazz and blues as well as spoken word events.
The Swan Theatre
A financially failing Swan Theatre was taken over by Huntingdon Arts Ltd in 2003 and brought it back to life in a transformation from a producing house to a theatre welcoming touring theatre, offering a home to amateur groups and available to hire. The Swan today offers a full programme of entertainment; professional theatre, dance, amateur theatre, live music, spoken word events and comedy. Following a much-needed internal refurbishment in 2009, The Swan continues to go from strength to strength.
