10/10 - Thoroughly enjoyed our family holiday at Walnut Arbour. Children particularly enjoyed the swimming pool and games room. Very spacious with room for us all to eat together, both inside and out, but big enough to enable us to have our own space. Good to know that Sean, the owner, was on hand if any problems occurred. Willows and Wetlands - excellent free day out. Very interesting, lovely cafe, friendly staff and great for all ages. - Ewles - August 2019

8/10 - We visited Glastonbury Tor and went walking on Exmoor. We particularly enjoyed the spa, pool, hot tub and comfortable beds and children's toys. We felt that the garden area could do with some attention. - Reber - August 2019

9/10 - My family enjoyed their stay, there was everything we needed in the house. The owner was very helpful. - Marsden - August 2019

9/10 - We enjoyed everything the facilities were brilliant. Could do with a few bigger pots for when cooking for 14 but that’s it!! The place is lovely and was spotless on our arrival. The only downside is check in times - if you compare against any hotels etc 4pm is really late and in effect you’re losing a day especially when check out is 10am. - Croly - July 2019

9/10 - There was something for the whole family ages 1 1/2 to 62. Shame the garden wasn’t bigger do we could play ball games. - Edginton - July 2019

10/10 - Loved the pool, hot tub, steam room, sauna and games room. - Bird - June 2019

10/10 - Was a wonderful house with everything we could possible want for our 4 night stay, I'd highly recommend walnut arbour to anyone. - Knight - June 2019

9/10 - The comfort and amenities provided were exceptional. Unsure as to how local recommends for eating out and activities are decided upon but lots more could be included with ratings from Tripadvisor possibly?? - Robertson - June 2019

10/10 - We particularly enjoyed the swimming pool and the enclosed games area which was used by children and adults alike. A day out in Wells to see the Cathedral and visit the Bishop's Palace and gardens. Wookey Hole and The Fleet Air Arm Museum are all good days out. - Alton - May 2019

9/10 - Amazing Hen Weekend beautiful house! - Morgan - May 2019

8/10 - We loved the pool and hot tub amenities and the playground was also handy for the kids. There isn't anything you can do to change this but it would have been a bit better had the play / open areas been a bit better connected. At times it felt the group could be isolated if separated into the different spaces. More communal areas together would have been great. Thanks for a lovely stay! - Giannecchini - May 2019

9/10 - Very good place for mixed age group as we were from 18 months to 70 years old. - Hillier - May 2019

10/10 - It was perfect. We were only there for a weekend of relaxing, although we did go for a nice walk to the Willows and Wetlands centre. - Wenn - April 2019

10/10 - On behalf of all our group... Bethany showed us round. Thanks for the Easter hamper!! Property met all expectations. Kids particularly enjoyed pool and games room. Lovely environment, good size and well maintained. One query - over our 3 day stay the water level in hot tub fell significantly. Not sure if this is leak ?? or natural evaporation?? Willow centre is good for half day visit. - Maisey - April 2019

10/10 - Manning - March 2019

10/10 - Absolutely wonderful house with all that was needed for a great weekend. Sean made arrival and minor hiccups really easy to manage. We can recommend Ling Clay Pigeon Shotting. - Drever - March 2019

8/10 - Very comfortable accommodation and the owners were very helpful when contacted. Had a nice greeting when we arrived at the property. - Mayo - January 2019

10/10 - Hot tub was lovely in spite of the cold weather! A very relaxing week. Only one shaver socket in the house could be an inconvenience if the house was full. We can recommend walking on the Somerset levels & visit to the Somerset Cider Brandy company. Willows and wetlands centre was very interesting. - Duff - November 2018

10/10 - Loved the pool and games room that could accommodate everybody. Visited Willow and Wetland. - Giles - October 2018

10/10 - Enjoyed all of the facilities as it was a real treat to swim, sauna, hot tub. All beds were very comfortable. Just wish we all could have stayed longer as didn't want to go home. Sean owner very helpful. - Rose-Pearce - September 2018

9/10 - Facilities were excellent. - Kanzaria - September 2018

9/10 - Positive = The property was very well equipped and comfortable. Warm welcome.
Negative = The sauna did not work and the wifi was very slow.
- Blakeman - September 2018

Response: The sauna at Walnut Arbour is on a 15 minute timer for safety so it turns itself off after 15 mins. It does need setting twice initially to get it up to temperature. - Sleeps12

9/10 - Walnut Arbour was very good for young children, pool and toys, also for their parents who spent rather a lot of time in the games room or with Prosecco in the hot tub (perhaps not so enjoyable for the grandparents who spent rather a lot of time in the kitchen!). It was very peaceful with lots to do indoors in the rather cool weather, very restful. Willows & Wetlands  Centre, a short walk along the road. - Alexander - September 2018

10/10 - The house was exactly as described. The pool games room and hot tub were very popular with all the family. Beds very comfortable House was well cleaned for our arrival. Also Sean greeted us and explained everything which was nice. We can recommend days out to Glastonbury for the adults. Wookey Hole and Puxton Park for the family. - Ottewell - August 2018

10/10 - Swimming pool, hot tub and steam room was awesome. There was something for everyone. Place was very clean. Young adults were well entertained with Sky and games room. Bedrooms were amazing and much better than we imagined. Kitchen was well equipped and nice to have all 12 of us sitting down at a table that fit us all. The beds and sofas were very comfortable. Small finishing touches with log fire to make the stay with a more countryside feel. People really nice around the area. Rain did not stop us using the hot tub as it was under a gazebo. The owners have definitely made the cottage as homely as possible. Would definitely recommend this place. - Panchani - August 2018

9/10 - We loved having the games room, pool, sauna and hot tub facilities. It kept the whole family entertained.
Would be useful to have had more tourist info in a booklet on site to cover suggested places to visit and eat. Wookey Hole. Great for all round family day out. Lots to entertain children particularly 3 to 12 years old.

Response: When staying at a sleeps12.com property you can view our Things To Do tab under each property, here you will find Places To Eat, Activities, Days Out, Shops etc, including distances from the property. - Sleeps12

9/10 - A totally excellent stay. The only negative were the number of flies trapped in the house which needs something installed to deal with particularly in the kitchen. We can recommend days out to Glastonbury Tor, Clark’s Village. Wookey Hole. - Hale - July 2018

10/10 - We had a wonderful family holiday which we will remember for a long time. We were very comfortable and felt very much at home, the house felt like a family home which for us was important. - Humphreys - July 2018

8/10 - We stayed in the property most days but did visit Clark's Village in Street, which was very nice! We absolutely loved the place and had a great time. Only suggestions would be a larger table and bigger brolly outside the kitchen area because everyone wanted to sit together here and there was very little sun shade. The only 'negatives' were there was nothing to play music on, there was a dock but we couldn't get it to work, and there was only one kitchen cloth, scourer and black bag. The bins outside were still full from the last visitors so we had to buy bags to store our waste in. - Parker - June 2018

10/10 - No comments or improvements - it was exactly what we wanted and we had a fantastic time. - Weatherburn - June 2018
