10/10 - Hot tub was lovely in spite of the cold weather! A very relaxing week. Only one shaver socket in the house could be an inconvenience if the house was full. We can recommend walking on the Somerset levels & visit to the Somerset Cider Brandy company. Willows and wetlands centre was very interesting. - Duff - November 2018

10/10 - Loved the pool and games room that could accommodate everybody. Visited Willow and Wetland. - Giles - October 2018

10/10 - Enjoyed all of the facilities as it was a real treat to swim, sauna, hot tub. All beds were very comfortable. Just wish we all could have stayed longer as didn't want to go home. Sean owner very helpful. - Rose-Pearce - September 2018

9/10 - Facilities were excellent. - Kanzaria - September 2018

9/10 - Positive = The property was very well equipped and comfortable. Warm welcome.
Negative = The sauna did not work and the wifi was very slow.
- Blakeman - September 2018

Response: The sauna at Walnut Arbour is on a 15 minute timer for safety so it turns itself off after 15 mins. It does need setting twice initially to get it up to temperature. - Sleeps12

9/10 - Walnut Arbour was very good for young children, pool and toys, also for their parents who spent rather a lot of time in the games room or with Prosecco in the hot tub (perhaps not so enjoyable for the grandparents who spent rather a lot of time in the kitchen!). It was very peaceful with lots to do indoors in the rather cool weather, very restful. Willows & Wetlands  Centre, a short walk along the road. - Alexander - September 2018

10/10 - The house was exactly as described. The pool games room and hot tub were very popular with all the family. Beds very comfortable House was well cleaned for our arrival. Also Sean greeted us and explained everything which was nice. We can recommend days out to Glastonbury for the adults. Wookey Hole and Puxton Park for the family. - Ottewell - August 2018

10/10 - Swimming pool, hot tub and steam room was awesome. There was something for everyone. Place was very clean. Young adults were well entertained with Sky and games room. Bedrooms were amazing and much better than we imagined. Kitchen was well equipped and nice to have all 12 of us sitting down at a table that fit us all. The beds and sofas were very comfortable. Small finishing touches with log fire to make the stay with a more countryside feel. People really nice around the area. Rain did not stop us using the hot tub as it was under a gazebo. The owners have definitely made the cottage as homely as possible. Would definitely recommend this place. - Panchani - August 2018

9/10 - We loved having the games room, pool, sauna and hot tub facilities. It kept the whole family entertained.
Would be useful to have had more tourist info in a booklet on site to cover suggested places to visit and eat. Wookey Hole. Great for all round family day out. Lots to entertain children particularly 3 to 12 years old.
- Knight - July 2018

Response: When staying at a sleeps12.com property you can view our Things To Do tab under each property, here you will find Places To Eat, Activities, Days Out, Shops etc, including distances from the property. - Sleeps12

9/10 - A totally excellent stay. The only negative were the number of flies trapped in the house which needs something installed to deal with particularly in the kitchen. We can recommend days out to Glastonbury Tor, Clark’s Village. Wookey Hole. - Hale - July 2018

10/10 - We had a wonderful family holiday which we will remember for a long time. We were very comfortable and felt very much at home, the house felt like a family home which for us was important. - Humphreys - July 2018

8/10 - We stayed in the property most days but did visit Clark's Village in Street, which was very nice! We absolutely loved the place and had a great time. Only suggestions would be a larger table and bigger brolly outside the kitchen area because everyone wanted to sit together here and there was very little sun shade. The only 'negatives' were there was nothing to play music on, there was a dock but we couldn't get it to work, and there was only one kitchen cloth, scourer and black bag. The bins outside were still full from the last visitors so we had to buy bags to store our waste in. - Parker - June 2018

10/10 - No comments or improvements - it was exactly what we wanted and we had a fantastic time. - Weatherburn - June 2018

10/10 - The facilities were fantastic, very homely feel to the property. Did help that we had nice weather though!! - Chamberlain - June 2018

9/10 - Really nice property, a little remote, but we knew that beforehand. Sean (the owner) called in on the first evening to welcome us and make sure all was OK. Overall a very nice holiday. We went to Taunton for a cricket match and Lyme Regis. Both pretty good. - Rathbone - June 2018

10/10 - Such great facilities but the steam room didn’t really seem to work properly? The pool was great but when it’s hot outside, because it’s heated then it was too hot in there to use unless you have doors open. Great in the winter but too hot and humid for the summer days unless temperature is turned down. The electric went off twice. Once for a few seconds and second time for we had to find the trip switches to turn back on. Amazing property though with lots of space and stuff to do and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. Can recommend - Life at Greenway's Sausage Making in Bridgwater. - Hayward - June 2018

10/10 - We had wonderful week, it was a shame the steam room was not working. We took the children to the Willows and Wetlands they did a willow search and loved it - wonderful staff there. - Savage - May 2018

9/10 - The only improvement to the house would be to have a toilet and shower in the pool area. Other than that it was perfect. - Forte - May 2018

10/10 - Walnut Arbour was a beautiful property. The swimming pool, hot tub, sauna and games room were a great hit. It was very well equipped, the owners had thought of everything. We didn't really need to leave the house as everything we needed was right there! Shame the steam room wasn't ready for use, maybe next time! - Bates - May 2018

10/10 - I honestly can not think of anything that would have improved our stay, it was amazing. - Patrick - April 2018

9/10 - Walnut Arbour was everything it promised to be. 4 generations of family to celebrate my 50th with plenty of space for everyone and with a swimming pool, sauna, hot tub, games room and even boxes of toys there was something for everyone. The house is so well equipped and even had children’s cutlery and crockery. It really is awesome. Only thing I think would improve the experience is a downstairs shower preferably near the pool (as showering before using the pool, hot tub etc upstairs was a pain), also the BBQ is too small for large parties (a 4 burner would be better) and only one pint glass in the house. None of these ‘improvements’ spoiled our time though and we’d love to go back. We also used Gayla catering from sleeps 12 who came in and catered a 3 course meal one evening (top quality) and the waitress Lucy was fab with our little ones (& big ones!!) and Jackie’s cakes also from sleeps 12 website baked me the best birthday cake. We can recommend Willows and Wetlands visitor centre, Weston-Super-MareClark’s shopping village. - Maggs - April 2018

10/10 - It was perfect. - Perry - April 2018

8/10 - It was a beautiful stay. Swimming pool not deep enough for adults. - Saleh - March 2018

9/10 - Loved everything about it. Would recommend leaving out a mop for the floor especially for cloakroom when you've been in either pool or hot tub. Iron and ironing board would be handy. More cupboard space for food shopping in kitchen. - Montague - March 2018

10/10 - No improvement needed. We stayed at the house and enjoyed walks in the surrounding countryside. - Arthur Family - January 2018

10/10 - We didnt leave the house all weekend! The house was just perfect had everything we needed and more. Enjoyed the pool, sauna and especially the hot tub. The games room was a big hit too. We all loved the huge lounge where we could chill and chat in comfort. The house was lovely and warm so cozy. The children’s toys were great for our little ones. We all had the best weekend and can’t wait to visit again. - Power Family - January 2018

10/10 - We all particularly enjoyed the swimming pool, sauna and hot tub. Our age range of 6 to 60 showed that every age group was catered for. We were only there for a three night break to celebrate my elder daughters 40th birthday and the facilities were such that we didnt need to leave the property. The only time we set foot outside was for some of us to have an amazing walk and met some locals who showed us a good route. - MacPherson Family - December 2017

9/10 - We enjoyed our stay but a hand rail to get into the hot tub would be amazing. Visit to the Wetland Centre is worth it! - Shrubsole Family - December 2017

10/10 - It was lovely to have the all the facilities available to us without being shared with other properties. Everything was provided that we needed, plastic cups, robes, even a bottle of wine on arrival. The house was beautiful, spacious and very clean. The only thing I would say is that there needs to be better information about the parking on the website (maybe a map) as it is really close but sounded far away. The heating was a little high at night and you were unable to turn the bathroom radiators off or down, these were so hot that you couldn’t touch them, but the thermostat for the house said do not touch so we opened the windows which was a little inefficient for heating bills! - Wellings Family - November 2017

9/10 - Loved the pool and the hot tub. We would recommend a visit to Clark's Village for shopping. - Dunn Party - November 2017

10/10 - We enjoyed our stay! - Vincent Group - November 2017

9/10 - Games room and hot tub were excellent features. The owners were very helpful with any problems/questions. We visited the local Wetlands Centre which is just minutes away. - Tyrrell Family - November 2017

8/10 - The childern loved the games room and were easily seen from the house. The swimming pool and hot tub were also very popular. An extending mirror in the bathroom of bedroom 1 would be helpful.  - Gooderham Family - October 2017
