We've put together useful FAQ to help you plan your stay:
We are able to hold a booking for 2 days if required. A 20% deposit is then necessary to secure the booking. The final amount is due 12 weeks prior to the arrival date. If a security deposit is required the amount will be shown when you make your booking. Any security deposit will be requested the week before you arrive and will be returned within 10 days of your departure, provided that the property is left in a satisfactory condition.
3 night weekend: 4.00pm Fri - 9.30am Mon
4 night mid week: 4.00pm Mon - 9.30am Fri
7 night week: 4.00pm Fri - 9.30am Fri or 4.00pm Mon to 9.30am Mon
Property address: Once you have made a booking, you'll find this within your booking information.
Directions: Directions can also be found within your booking information once you have secured your holiday.
Check In: 4 weeks before your stay you will be able to access your Check In Details within your booking. Here you will find the owners/managers contact information and details of how to access the property on your arrival.
Catering, pampering and activities: These can all be booked directly with the provider and can be found under EXTRAS.
Places to eat: Please see THINGS TO DO for information on places to eat near the property.
Number of guests: This property sleeps 10 guests in 5 bedrooms. There is also room for 2 more guests in pull out truckle beds at no extra charge. You can view where these extra beds are on the FLOOR PLANS.
Cots: 1 cot and 1 highchair are available at no extra charge. These should be selected when doing your room configurations.
Room configurations: All rooms have zip and link beds that can be arranged as superkings or twins. Bedrooms 3 and 4 both have optional pull out truckle beds that can sleep 1 person in each at no extra charge.
Dogs: This property does not allow pets.
BBQ: There is a gas BBQ with gas provided; this is available to use from Easter to the end of October. There is also use of a BBQ lodge throughout the year though this must be booked in advance. Charcoal is supplied for this.
WIFI: There is wifi throughout The Cedars, though it is worth bearing in mind that because this is a rural area internet speeds may not be as fast as you are used to. We would recommend that you download anything you might need before your stay.
Sky: This property has SKY TV(full package).
Wood-burner: There is a wood-burning stove in the sitting room. An inital supply of logs is provided for this with more available to purchase.
Food deliveries: Asda, Waitrose, Sainsburys, Tesco, Dart Fresh and COOK Frozen Foods will all deliver to this property. Please arrange deliveries for after your 4pm arrival. We recommend that you put your name and mobile number on the delivery information.
What's provided for your stay:
There is enough crockery, cutlery and glasses for a dinner party. You'll find at least 2 toilet rolls per toilet. Salt and pepper, tea, coffee, sugar, washing-up-liquid, dishwasher tablets (at least 6), tea towels, dish cloth and scourer, sponge, oven gloves, kitchen roll, tin foil, cling film, bin bags, hand soap, Welcome Packs of shower gel, shampoo and conditioner. 2 hairdryers provided.
Bed linen and towels: All duvets, pillows and bed linen are provided. Duvets and pillows are filled with synthetic fibres. Bed linen, cot mattress sheets, bath robes, slippers, bath towels and hand towels are supplied. You should bring your own towels for use with the hot tub and we would recommend that you also bring suitable footwear for going to and fro – eg. Flip-flops.
Swim spa: The swim spa is outside on the patio and can be used year round.
