This dreamy, unique property combines tasteful Arts & Crafts style with all the comfort and modern convenience you need for any large group stay, whether it's a holiday with family and friends or corporate hospitality.

Being within the Wye Valley AONB, The Benches is perfectly located for exploring the wider area; take to the great outdoors in the Forest of Dean, the Brecon Beacons or the Black Mountains, and if you're feeling adventurous go abseiling, rock climbing, canoeing, or mountain biking. For something more sedate opt for fishing, golf or pony trekking, or pick up a walking trail and take yourself off on a leisurely amble through the beautiful countryside; right from the back gate is a walk along the riverbank to a charming little pub and from there you can head up the hill onto Offa's Dyke and back round to the Kymin where you'll have views of ten counties. Nature lovers may spot peregrine falcons nesting in the cliffs at Symonds Yat, or kingfishers on the Mon & Brecon Canal. It's only a ten minute stroll through the fields into Monmouth where you can potter round the shops, or jump in the car and go and browse the many book shops in Hay-on-Wye; head south to see the majestic ruins of Tintern Abbey.

Depending on the time of year, you can soak up the vibrant atmosphere at Abergavenny Food Festival or Monmouth Festival, and year round you'll find plenty of opportunities for family days out. Take in some art with a difference on The Forest of Dean Sculpture Trail, climb on board a steam train on the Perrygrove or Dean Forest Railway, whizz through the trees on zip wires at Go Ape, head underground at Clearwell Caves, solve conundrums in the forest at Puzzlewood, learn some history at Dean Heritage Centre. If you like history you must visit Chepstow Castle, Caerwent Roman Town, or Raglan Castle. Make wonderful memories at Wye Valley Butterfly Zoo, and The aMazing Hedge Puzzle - all are within easy reach of The Benches. It'll be the best large group stay ever!
