Riverside welcomes two well behaved dogs so no need to leave your furry friend behind when you come for your UK holiday or group stay. Your pet pooch can join in all the fun, with lots of gorgeous walks amidst beautiful countryside right from your doorstep.

You'll love an early morning stroll along the banks of the River Tone, with a backdrop of glorious far reaching views, or out on the Somerset Levels where you can walk through the fields, and along the rhynes (pronounced REENS) and old drover's tracks - there's something very special about treading the oldways of the people who worked this land in days gone by, whilst your dog bounds happily ahead of you.

There are some charming village pubs in this area and most are dog friendly, so if you fancy winding up at a country inn for a pint of the local brew or a lazy lunch, your four legged friend can come too. Cross the river and stroll along the banks to the King Alfred Inn at Burrowbridge, or to the Bird in Hand at North Curry. Not far away are the Blackdown Hills with a network of footpaths and bridle ways to explore, or further afield you and your pet can climb the famous Tor at Glastonbury to be rewarded with panoramic views of the Somerset countryside and beyond.

The beaches of the Somerset and Jurassic coasts are within easy reach, and though some have seasonal restrictions, several are dog friendly year round, so your favourite animal can happily splash in the sea before heading home for a game of fetch in the garden, and perhaps some scraps from your barbecue.

Note: Two dogs are welcome at this property and must be added as a Chargeable Extra once you have completed your booking. This can either be done by calling the office on 01823 665500, or by logging into your booking and clicking on EXTRAS. A charge of £50 per dog will then be applied to the booking total.
