10/10 - Wicks - February 2020

9/10 - The Quantock Hills and Exmoor are just stunning, the views are amazing; Porlock Weir is a lovely coastal village with lots of character; Dunster Castle is well worth a visit. Both Ramscombe and Cockercombe accommodations are great for large parties, well equipped, spacious, clean and cosy; they are ideally situated for getting out and about. 9/10 - The walking in the area is excellent. Although to get the best out of it, one has to travel over to as far as Lynmouth - Lynnton. But it all worth it. The roof rooms ceilings were a little low. I have not had to have a bath for years. I had great difficulty in getting out of the bath. Even when I optimised my methodology using the hand rails, it was still a major strain. - Haspel - September 2018

Response: "Please note that there are great walks just a mile up the road from the lodges as they are well placed at the foot of the Quantock Hills". - Sleeps12

10/10 - The swimming pool was amazing and used every day by both the kids and adults and the games of table tennis and French bowls kept us entertained for houses. We went to Dunster Castle and Minehead which were only a short drive away and great for the whole family. - Hawkins Family - November 2017

10/10 - We enjoyed our stay and a visit to Dunster. The two properties were fabulous and were ideal to celebrate a 50th birthday and combined a wedding. Highly recommended. 5 stars! - Rowe Family - September 2017

A family group of 12 of us (aged from 58 to 8 months) stayed at Cockercombe to celebrate my husband's 50th Birthday. I felt the need to write and congratulate you on the property - it's wonderful and truly exceeded all our expectations. Although there were 12 of us under one roof we never felt on top of each other or restricted in any way, it's so spacious, light and clean. The pool was used at least once a day and due to the very kind weather we even made use of the BBQ  a couple of times!! A great time was had by all and we hope to return to Cockercombe in the very near future. - Barrow - Torrington

Ramscombe is an amazing house, so cosy and very well suited to large families of all ages 18 months - 70 yrs. Had a fabulous weekend & would love to return. - Bowman Family

We came to Ramscombe for a quiet, family holiday in which to teach the children to swim, Success - 2 kids can swim!! The place is absolutely amazing, great facilities, the pool being the highlight of our stay. We had lots of fun with the snooker table, board games and cooked, made cakes and even chocolate torte with the kids. The place is so comfortable, it was a great place to chill out with the kids. Would probably come back to another Sleeps12 property. - The Ali Family - Surrey
