Inwood Farmhouse stands at the foot of the Quantock Hills, ready for your large group stay; step in to the huge kitchen/entertaining space where to one side there’s an incredibly well equipped kitchen with a long ‘bar’ to sit at, and to the other, an opulent U-shaped sofa, upholstered in royal blue velvet; the room is light and airy, bright and spacious, perfect for gathering together for sociable family holidays, celebrations, hen weekends and corporate away days.

Off to the left is a wide hallway leading to a utility room and the stairs; to the right is the gorgeously styled dining room where a long bespoke oak table takes centre place. Beyond the dining room is the downstairs cloakroom. To the right of the kitchen/entertaining room is the spa area with a treatment room* and an elegant beauty bar, and at the end, a glass fronted sauna. Continue round to the rustic style bar/mini kitchen where there’s another big comfy sofa and the indoor hot tub. The mini kitchen is very useful if you hire caterers because it gives them somewhere to prep away from the rest of the house; they can happily get on with things whilst you all get together for pre-dinner cocktails. On warmer days you can slide back the full height doors by the hot tub and step out into the paved courtyard – another very sociable space with an outside bar, barbecue, and outdoor furniture.

The bedrooms at Inwood Farmhouse are arranged over two floors. All the bedrooms have en suite facilities and with the exception of Bedroom 5, have zip and link beds so you can decide whether you want them set up as superkings or twins. All the bedrooms have country views and are named after fields on the farm – a nice nod to the house's heritage. On the first floor are Bedrooms 1-5. Bedroom 1 (Stone Close) makes a good family suite as there are actually two adjoining rooms and an en suite bathroom with a spa bath and a separate double shower. The first room has zip and link beds, the second has bunk beds with a double on the bottom and a single on the top.

Bedroom 2 (Great Meadow) has an en suite shower room and Bedroom 3 (Bathing Field) is another one with an en suite bathroom with spa bath and separate shower. Bedroom 4 (Buck Hill) has its own shower room and at the end of the landing, Bedroom 5 (Sky Lane) has not only an en suite shower room but also a free standing bath in front of the window, and doors to a veranda – what a lovely spot for coffee in the morning, or for a sneaky nightcap beneath the stars.

On the top floor is Bedroom 6 (Horses Mead), Bedroom 7 (Lawn Mead) and accessed by a separate staircase, Bedroom 8 (Bushy Mead). These bedrooms, like all the others are spacious and restful with their own en suite shower rooms. Bathrooms and shower rooms are all very modern with high quality fixtures and crisp neutral tones; there is motion lighting in all bathrooms and sensor LED mirrors.
