We are able to hold a booking for 2 days if required. A 20% deposit is then necessary to secure the booking. The final amount is due 12 weeks prior to the arrival date. If a security deposit is required the amount will be shown when you make your booking. Any security deposit will be requested the week before you arrive and will be returned within 10 days of your departure, provided that the property is left in a satisfactory condition.

Number of guests: This property sleeps 18 guests in 8 bedrooms. There is also the option of 6 more guests at an EXTRA charge per person. You can view where these extra beds are on the FLOOR PLANS.
Cots: 2 cots and 2 highchairs are available at no extra charge. These should be selected when doing your room configurations.
Room configurations: All rooms except for Bedroom 4 have zip and link beds that can be arranged as superkings or twins. Bedroom 4 has handcrafted bunk beds that are big enough and comfortable enough to sleep 4 adults.
Dogs: 2 dogs are allowed at this property by prior arrangement. There is a charge of £50 per dog.
BBQ: There is an outdoor kitchen on the terrace, with a sink, gas barbecue, a wood fired pizza oven and a firepit. Fuel is provided for all of these.
Music: There is a Blue Tooth speaker at the property.
Food deliveries: Waitrose, Sainsburys, Tesco, Asda, Morrisons and Dart Fresh (Mon, Weds, Fri only) will all deliver to this property. Please arrange deliveries for after your 4pm arrival. We recommend that you put your name and mobile number on the delivery information. When you place your order note that the Little Hesdin Estate and Hesdin Hall have recently been allocated a new postcode - BA13 4GF. If the delivery driver cannot find Hesdin Hall using this postcode, he should try the old one - BA13 4AQ.
What's provided for your stay: There is enough crockery, cutlery and glasses for a dinner party. You'll find at least 1 toilet roll per toilet. salt and pepper, tea, coffee, sugar, washing-up liquid, dishwasher tablets, tea towels, a dish cloth and scourer sponge, oven gloves, kitchen roll, tin foil, cling film, bin bags, 2-in-1 washing powder, hand soap, Welcome Packs of shampoo, conditioner and body lotion. Hairdryers in all bedrooms.
Bed linen and towels: All duvets, pillows and bed linen are provided. Duvets and pillows are filled with synthetic fibres. Cot mattress sheets, bath robes, bath towels, hand towels and robes are supplied. Note that towels are not supplied for use with the pool and hot tub, so we recommend that you bring extra towels and appropriate footwear (flip-flops) for going to and fro.
Swimming pool: The pool is in the garden and measures 10m x 5m with a constant depth of 1.2m; it is heated so can be used year round. There are steps in the corner to aid access. Note that the pool and hot tub both have an electric cover which is designed to keep them covered and warm whilst not in use. IT IS VERY IMPORTANT THAT THE COVER IS REPLACED EVERY TIME YOU HAVE FINISHED USING THE POOL/HOT TUB. IF THE COVER IS LEFT OFF OVERNIGHT IT WILL CREATE PLUMBING AND HEATING PROBLEMS AND YOU MAY NOT BE ABLE TO USE THESE FACILITIES FOR THE REST OF YOUR STAY.

Note that Hesdin Hall is within the private 20 acre Hesdin Estate; note that there are other properties on the estate undergoing renovation for letting with Sleeps12. Noise will be kept to a minimum and there will be no works at weekends. During the week the builders finish at 5pm Mon-Thurs and at 4pm on Fri. The entrance to Hesdin Hall is not used by anyone other than guests staying at the house and the walled garden is very private.
