Where is Henfield Barn?

Henfield Barn is on the outskirts of Bristol near but not overlooked by the M4. Therefore it is very accessible to good infrastructure and train links. This makes it the perfect property for those looking to be only a few hours from London or for guests looking to have a night out in a City. The full address can be found on the property page and you'll also be able to access it on the My Booking section once you have made a booking. 

What time can I arrive at Henfield Barn?

The arrival time is 4pm for all stays. If you think that you may arrive later than this then please do contact the owner, the contact details can be found on the check in information. This will  be available to view about 4 weeks before arrival. Lead bookers will be notified of this by email. Please do not arrive any earlier than 4pm, we can not be sure that the property will be ready for you and you'll not be allowed access. 

How do I find the property?

There are comprehensive directions provided in the My Booking section. Once you have made a booking you'll be able to access this from the sleeps12 homepage. Please use these instructions rather than Sat Nav as this can sometimes take you past the turning for the property. Please also pass these instructions to all members of your group.

What time should I depart from the property?

Departure time for Henfield Barn is 10am. Please ensure that you are ready and have left the property by this time. The cleaning team need the full 6 hours to prepare the property for the next guests.

Does this property allow 2 night stays?

Unfortunately Henfield Barn does not currently advertise two night stays. Weekend breaks are for three nights, mid week breaks are 4 nights and you can also book a full week break. If you only wanted to stay for two nights then you could, and leave at any time on the Sunday but there would be no reduction in price.

We are thinking of inviting people over for the day is this allowed at your property?

Unfortunately this is not allowed at any of the sleeps12 properties. This is clearly set out in the Terms and Conditions that should have ben read at the time of booking. There is a maximum occupancy for each property that must not be exceeded for insurance purposes and every person who is a guest at the property must be added to the booking including their names and ages. If you think you may have invited people to visit then you must call the office so that relevant permissions can be obtained from the owners of the property. This is due to health and safety regulations as well as insurances.

Does this property require a cautionary deposit?

This property owner may require a cautionary deposit of up to £500 three weeks before your arrival. They will contact you directly to arrange this. More details about cautionary deposits can be found on this link.

Can I have a food delivery to the property?

Yes you can arrange to have a food delivery to the property when you arrive or during your stay. We ask that delivery slots are made for after the arrival time of 4pm and that you are there to receive the delivery personally. We recommend that you put your mobile number and name on the delivery information. The following shops will deliver to this property: Asda, Waitrose, Sainsburys and Tesco. 

How do I access the property on the day of my stay? Will the owner meet me there or do I have to find the keys?

All of your check-in information is provided for you about 4 weeks before your arrival. You will be emailed a link to this once it is available. You can view your check-in information by logging into the My Booking section of our website using your booking reference number and your email address. Then you'll be able to see the owner's contact details (in case you are going to arrive later than 4pm) as well as how to access the key if a key lock is provided. There is a code for the gate at this property. The check in information will contain this code.

What will be supplied for us at Henfield Barn?

There is enough crockery, cutlery and glasses for a dinner party, At least 2 toilet rolls per toilet, Salt and Pepper, Tea, Coffee, Sugar, Washing Up Liquid, Dishwasher Tablets, Tea Towels, Dish Cloth and Scourer Sponge, Oven Gloves, Welcome Hamper, All bed linen, cot mattress sheets, bath towels and hand towels are supplied, Toiletries. PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN POOL AND HOT TUB TOWELS AS THESE ARE NOT PROVIDED.

How should we leave the property when we depart?
It is important that your departure in no later than 
We expect all rubbish to be bagged up and left outside the front of the property.
All washing up from your stay should have been done and put away with the dishwasher loaded with your final load and then turned on before you leave.
The kitchen table and kitchen surfaces to be wiped down.
Any spillages to be cleaned up during your stay
Please check all rooms to ensure that nothing is left behind.
Any furniture that has been moved during your stay, please return to its original position.
We do not expect beds to be stripped and all towels etc can be left in bathrooms
We are more understanding if any damage is notified asap
As we do not stay at the property we rely on our guests informing us of anything that is missing from the property or if anything is not working correctly.

Are dogs allowed at Henfield Barn?

Unfortunately dogs are not allowed at Henfield Barn. We do have lots of other lovely properties that do allow dogs so you should be able to find something you like as much as Henfield Barn!

Is there WiFi at Henfield Barn?

Yes, there is WiFi at Henfield Barn, please be aware that the property is a converted barn so some of the walls are very thick and so there may be some varience in speed throughout the house.

Is there SKY TV at Henfield Barn?

There is a full SKY package at this property for you to all enjoy.

How far from Bristol City center is the property?

Henfield Barn is about 10 minutes from the City center and easily accessible by car and bus. This makes it a perfect property if you are thinking of a few shopping trips or a night out!

Does this property allow hen and stag parties?

Henfield Barn has close neighbours and so we do ask that if you are considering the property for a Hen, Stag or a single sex party of any kind then you contact the office to discuss. Sleeps12 would then have to ask the owners their permission. Please do contact the office before making a booking as we wouldn't want to disappoint you.

How do we book EXTRAS that are listed on the website?

It is great that you are looking to further enhance your stay while in this property! Thank you for using one of our recommended suppliers that we have mentioned in our EXTRAS for the property. Please contact them and arrange this. Once it has been arranged you will need to let us know by email or phone call who you have booked, when they are coming and how many people there will be. We need this information for insurance purposes.

How big is the pool at Henfield Barn?

The pool is huge! It measures 11m x 5m and has a constant depth of 1.2m

I see an AGA in the gallery pictures but is this the only cooking facility - I have never used an AGA before. 

The AGA is a 6 oven version so there will be plenty of cooking space but there is also an electric oven and hob for those not too comfortable with the workings of an AGA. 

Is there a gym at this property?

There is a cardio gym and a weights gym. If you would like to use these please let the owner know when you arrive.

There is a woodburner at Henfield Barn?

There is a woodburner and the owner kindly provides logs for your use. 

Is there a BBQ at this property?

There is a BBQ but this is only available during the summer months. It is a gas BBQ ans the gas is supplied for you.
