9/10 - The house is simply beautiful, so much space for all 13 of us. we would defiantly return. - French - December 2019

10/10 - Loved the pool and garden. We had a fab time. A table tennis table in the garden would have been great. A few of my party found the traffic noise from the M4 disturbing at night? - Hylton - September2019

10/10 - The spaciousness and so much to do to keep everyone occupied. We didnt leave the property at all, and everyone enjoyed themselves. The hamper was an excellent surprise, more than what we expected. One negative I would point out is not all the jets in the hot tub were working but this didnt have an impact. - Panchani - August 2019

9/10 - The property seemed to have everything required. Would recommend to friends. -Cassettare - August 2019

We stayed at Henfield Barn this weekend (19th-22nd) and just want to say what a wonderful time was had by all..we were celebrating a family members birthday l, the age ranged from 15-73 and everyone was totally impressed with the surroundings. I was greeted on arrival by rich, who was fab, he showed me around and when there was a slight problem he was on hand. The pool being off the kitchen was great for us as we used this area the most. I would 100% recommend to others and would return in a flash. - Cook - July 2019

8/10 - Evans - July 2019

9/10 - Lovely House, only thing I would say is to to tell people before they come that if you want music on after half 10 then you have to shut the doors and take it inside. We were on a hen party so wasnt what we would have looked for if known on a very hot weekend too. Also there is a cat that practically lives there and 1 of my friends is petrified of cats so best to tell people that too. We thought there was no houses around but there are 2 very close neighbours. Otherwise a lovely place to stay. - Evans - June 2019

9/10 - We loved the house - I only gave it a 9.5 because most of the jets in both the hot tub and jacuzzi weren't working which was a bit disappointing. Otherwise we had a great time and did not leave the house during our stay as it was too nice. - Barren - June 2019

8/10 - Property was very nice, not quite full on luxury as we had issues with some of the advertised features (hot tub, sound system and balcony to main bedroom) but this didn’t tarnish our stay. - Rigolli - May 2019

8/10 - The property's high points were very high indeed, pool, hot tubs, garden and outside space, games room and television offerings were all absolutely fabulous. The reason we have only given an 8 out of 10 for the property is due to a few minor touches which let the property down. For example, the master bedroom had a wardrobe door which didn't shut, it had no drawer space to put clothes and the wet room was such that when you had a shower water went everywhere and drenched the whole room. In addition, having a rule that only 2 people in the building could shower at the same time was a bit irritating. So minor points only but what was good was very good. - Miller - April 2019

9/10 - The property was amazing for a family celebration. Children (and adults!) loved the pool and hot tub, also stories in the 'Reindeer Hut'. Loads of space for eating and games. Well equipped kitchen.  The dimmer switches in back lounge not working so spotlights were too bright for evenings. The Master Bedroom needs drawers for clothes and a chair would have been nice (also only 1 chair on balcony) Not all jets in hot tub were working. Overall though, a fabulously luxurious property! - Larley - March 2019

10/10 - Staff were all excellent, the gentlemen that greeted us and showed us around, Jordan who heavily suppported us throughout the weekend and how well the house was presented and looked after. It really was the most incredible weekend. - Taplin - February 2019

8/10 - The property had a lot of benefits for a social gathering - the pool, the fire pit, but there were quite a lot of things that didn’t live up to the overall standard of the property. The steam room didn’t work while we were there, the button for the pool cover was broken, the lights in the garden didn’t work, the toilet flushes didn’t work well at all, there was no broom to sweep floors, no hanging rail / airer to hang wet costumes, the hot tub didn’t work as well as it should, there weren’t any drawers in master bedroom for clothes... - Richardson - January 2019

10/10 - The whole house was amazing. The children lived in the pool and the communal kitchen was perfect for large groups. We will definitely be back! - Davies - November 2018

8/10 - The property was absolutely stunning and catered very well for a large number of guests. The kitchen and pool area in particular were fantastic. The bedrooms were lovely and the small touches, like everyone having towels and bathrobes, were fantastic. A few things that would have improved our stay include: - Better lighting in all the rooms. They were very dark and made it difficult to get ready in the mornings and evenings. - The bedrooms had no chairs, so we had to either sit on the floor or the bed to do hair and make up, to read a book, etc. - The skylight in the upstairs bedroom with the walk out to the balcony is directly over the bed and doesn’t have a blind. This woke guests up very early both mornings. - We were planning to have cocktails in the Reindeer Hut but it was far too dark - even in the daytime. The strip lighting made no difference at all. - We had brought DVDs with us but there was no DVD player at the property. - Gilbert - November 2018

10/10 - We went for my sisters hen do and everyone had the most incredible time staying in this house. The attention to detail was impeccable and catered for everything we could possibly want. We’ve had so many messages asking about this property and I’d 100% recommend it and want to come back again. Thank you. - Wilkes - November 2018

9/10 - We loved the house it was great, the only downside was wished we were given more than one towel, as after using it in the swimming pool didn't want to use it after a shower, also wish there was an internal hall way to get to the steam and sauna room, was too cold to go outside so didn't use it. - Kaur - October 2018

Response: "We recommend guests read the FAQ's where it gives you a list of everything that is supplied for your stay. Here it will explain that bath towels and hand towels are supplied, but for guests to bring your own pool and hot tub towels". - Sleeps12

9/10 - We had a fabulous time and everyone in the group was in love with house. We did have a problem with the WiFi unfortunately that couldn’t be fixed while we were there but the team at the property did try and were very accommodating getting us a speaker for the music. A few of the rooms have a sky light with no option to cover them up this is not so great when it’s above your bed and wakes you up at the crack of dawn. We do plan on returning it offered everything we could of wished for. Thank you for having us xx - Hill - October 2018

10/10 - All round amazing house. - Harris - September 2018

10/10 - Wash - August 2018

10/10 - We all had a fantastic break at Henfield Barn. It is a perfect property for a family group celebration. The suggestion on the website of being able to do an online food shop was taken up and worked out really well. When the Tesco delivery arrived we had everything we needed for the 4 night stay. The situation of the swimming pool off the kitchen was the best feature of the property as we did all the socialising day and night in that area. Music system was taken full advantage of. Garden was well laid out out with lots of quiet lounging areas to relax. Sauna, solarium and reindeer rooms all used and enjoyed by all. The property felt very safe and secure. I think that in the entrance hall something needs to be done about highlighting the step down (either a bright hazard warning strip or a ramp down like in the lounge area) as our elderly guest missed the step when she arrived and took a tumble but fortunately didn’t break anything. We were having such a great time at Henfield Barn and having an elderly guest and 3 children in the party we only ventured as a whole group one day to Bath and enjoyed the bus top tour of the sites. A couple in the group also had a nice day in Weston Super Mare. - Hill - August 2018

9/10 - Enjoyable all round for all. Facilities in house and garden excellent. Some maintenance/repair issues which we left notes about for Rich as requested. - Johnson - August 2018

10/10 - We all enjoyed everything, everything has been thought of. The only little thing from sleeps 12 side would be to let people know that robes are provided (just would have saved a bit of room in the suitcase). Easy to book kept informed and photos were very true to the real thing loved it. - Lewin - July 2018

Response: For information on what is left in the property for your arrival please view the FAQ's, there is also a list on the Check In information which is made available before your arrival. - Sleeps 12.

10/10 - The accommodation was luxurious with several extras - dressing gowns, pastries delivered on Saturday morning, a very good welcome hamper, plenty of toilet rolls, a supply of cleaning items, including dishwasher tablets, bountiful plastic glasses for the garden, great quality and quantity of cutlery and crockery. - Jones - June 2018

10/10 - Enjoyed all the facilities. Visited Bristol docklands SS Great Britain and Kendleshire Golf Course. - Hunter - May 2018

10/10 - Enjoyed the house and pool. Day out to Bristol Zoo. - Gardner - May 2018

10/10 - We loved the property and spent a lot of time just relaxing round the house and in the pool. Would have liked the strainer baskets in the pool to have been cleaned out before using the pool as there was lots of hair, and debris in it as well as sharp edges on the pool tiles which kept cutting our 2yr old. Would have also liked a good route to walk from the house instead of walks which we had to drive to as the surrounding countryside is beautiful. The welcome hamper was amazing and was great to arrive to as it was bank holiday but would have also liked some butter to put on the bread and crumpets. We can recommend Bristol Zoo Gardens. - Sturdy - May 2018

8/10 - Swimming pool was good and the Welcome hamper was brilliant as well as any issues we had were resolved very quickly by Rich. We can recommend days out to Wookey Hole and Bath. - Sullivan - April 2018

10/10 - We enjoyed all the facilities at Henfield Barn and it would be hard to improve on what there is. We can recommend BathClifton Suspension Bridge, Cycle Ride around the local villages! - Barley - March 2018

10/10 - The space throughout was well planned and great for socialising but also had places where you could sit quietly if wanted. The kitchen was a lovely space where we could all help out with cooking without bumping into each other. The pool was in a super place where swimmers could still join in with conversations in the kitchen. A few from the group spent a few hours in Bristol and Bath but most didn’t want to leave the house. - Trussell - March 2018

10/10 - You advertise gas bbq so we planned our food around that for Sat night, and was told there was no bbq, we found one in the garden shed but was asked not to use it as housekeeper Rich didn’t know there was one! Other than that everything was great, best pool temperature ever x x Spencer Party - February 2018

8/10 - Cottage has everything to accommodate all in the group ages 2 -62. If you have booked a 3 or 4 night break then there is no need to venture out. We enjoyed the open plan kitchen which is brilliant for large families. It would be great if you would except dogs as we really missed ours. Thank you all for a great family holiday. Phillips Family - February 2018
