When holidaying at Foxcombe there's no need to leave your favourite pet at home or in kennels - they can come too and have heaps of fun with their human family! There are miles and miles of the most gorgeous countryside right on your doorstep, so plenty of opportunities for some fantastic dog walks of all lengths; you might only want a short ambient stroll through fields or along forest tracks, or you might fancy something longer and more strenuous - whatever your choice, the beautiful Quantock Hills has it all - and lots of lovely views to boot. How about a climb to Wills Neck, the highest point in the Quantocks? Or a walk to the iron age fort of Cockercombe Castle? Or to the 2ft high bronze age Triscombe Stone? if you want to go further afield take your canine friend for some time on the rugged heaths of Exmoor National Park, or out onto the unique landscape of the Somerset Levels, or to one of the dog friendly beaches on the Somerset coast - last time we checked, Brean, Berrow, Sand Bay and Kilve had areas with no seasonal restrictions, so your doggie can run on the beach and splash in the sea whatever the time of year. Many of the village pubs are dog friendly too, though some restrict dogs to the bar area - but no need to leave your pet behind when you go for lunch or a pint of the local brew.

Note: Two dogs are welcome at this property and must be added as a Chargeable Extra once you have completed your booking. This can either be done by calling the office on 01823 665500, or by logging into your booking and clicking on EXTRAS. A charge of £50 per dog will then be applied to the booking total.
