Well, what a refreshing change for corporate away days, whether it's for team building or hospitality! Beaverbrook 20 has all the space you need for informal meetings, dining and relaxing; no kidding, there's room for presentations, demonstrations and breakouts, and after hours your guests can completely unwind in the amazing spa hall where there's a swimming pool, sunken jacuzzi, and 8 person sauna. Upstairs is a games room with a pool table, table tennis, air hockey and table football.
If you're looking to book team building activities see our Things To Do pages where you'll find plenty of inspiration, like go karting at Mansell Raceway, target shooting at Rifleman Ranges, a tour of the cider farm at Harry's Cider Company, and mackerel fishing with Nick's Fishing Trips. If you want to keep it all in-house check out our Extras page and you'll find life drawing classes, dance lessons, and the awesome Sharandy's Birds of Prey falconry experience. Just up the road at Coombe Farm Organic you can have clay pigeon shooting tuition or a farm tour - whilst you're there buy organic meat for a barbecue back at Beaverbrook 20, or book the guys from the farm to do you a hog roast. If you're laying on corporate hospitality take your guests out to one of the beautiful historic houses and gardens nearby - Forde Abbey, Montacute House or Barrington Court; otherwise take them to Haynes Motor Museum, Fleet Air Arm Museum or up to Cricket St Thomas Golf Club for a round of golf. For something completely different a visit to South West Deer Rescue and Study Centre is hard to beat.
When it comes to dining you can make things nice and easy by booking one of our tried and tested professional caterers to come in and serve you up a delight of a feast, or you could go out to one of the local eateries; the Windwhistle Inn just up the road is good for big groups, as is the George at Donyatt which you may have passed on your way here. If you want a proper country pub go to The New Inn at Dowlish Wake just a mile or so away, or venture out round the lanes to Dinnington Docks. If you prefer a gastro pub you should book a table at the Lord Poulett Arms at Hinton St George; for restaurants try Hornsbury Mill, Bath House Restaurant in Chard, or the Tytherleigh Arms.
Beaverbrook 20 will impress and inspire; you'll go home with that deal under your belt and with positive working relations, ready to stride forward.
