In a nutshell, Beaverbrook 20 is stunning; a very sympathetic conversion has seen centuries old barns transformed into sumptuously stylish and commodious self catering group accommodation for up to 20 guests in two separate buildings linked by a paved and gravelled courtyard. The spa hall is incredible, with an indoor heated pool, a 10 person jacuzzi and an indulgent sauna with room for 8. This place is hard to beat for big family holidays, large group celebrations and corporate away days.

The main building used to be a grain barn, but you'd never think it! It exudes wow factor from the minute you walk in; a roomy hallway takes you through to the enormous open plan living space, flooded with natural light from the floor to ceiling windows, and designed with socialising and entertaining in mind. To one end is a fantastic Shaker style kitchen, fully equipped with all the latest appliances and gadgets, including 6 ovens, 3 dishwashers, a fridge freezer, two drinks fridges and an ice making machine. A breakfast bar with tractor seat stools allows for chitchat whilst you create a delicious feast for all to tuck into - or whilst you wait for our tried and tested local caterers to do this for you (see our Extras page)! Off the kitchen is a useful utility room with a separate WC, a washing machine and a tumble dryer.

Central to this vast living space is a ginormous and very sturdy dining table - just imagine your group sat round, glasses raised, a scrumptious food to tuck into... At the other end of the room is a snug area with colourful, inviting sofas and a big TV. Making a huge space like this homely is quite a task but at Beaverbrook 20 the owners have really pulled it off - wooden floors, cowhide rugs, cosy armchairs, well co-ordinated accessories and thoughtful touches all add to that wonderful welcoming feel.

Off the living area is Bedroom 1, which sleeps 2  but can sleep up to 5 (additional charges apply). This room has a very peaceful feel and a wonderful view over the quiet lane and the pretty church. French doors open onto the courtyard, and there's a fantastic en suite bathroom with a wetroom area and a free standing bath. Also at this end of the main building is Bedroom 2, sleeping 2 guests (plus 1 more at an additional charge), with an en suite bathroom with a bath and shower. 

Off the living area are Bedrooms 3 and 4, both sleeping 2 people in superking or twin beds. With up-to-the-minute styling, that homely ambience is everywhere; you'll love it!

From the hallway stairs rise to a spacious landing and 2 WC's. Off to the left is the home cinema/living room, with lots of traditional character; natural stone walls, high oak beams - and the style is so en vogue, it's like stepping into one of those home interiors magazines! The room has heaps of light from the full length windows, huge, welcoming sofas, and an inbuilt, pull-down screen and projector for  use as a TV, and also a great opportunity for rolling photographs of your holiday or celebration!

Opposite the living room is the games room, bright and airy with full length windows to both sides. The perfect chill out space, there's an 8ft American pool table, table tennis, table football, US air hockey, a docking station, Bluetooth speakers, and a big TV that you can plug games consoles in to  - so no excuse for anyone getting bored. Trendy floor cushions add to the relaxing vibe and there's a handy kitchen area to one end, wtih a sink, drinks fridge and dishwasher.

Bedrooms 5-10 are just across the courtyard, in the Tie Stalls, the former milking parlour for the working farm. Lovingly converted, these rooms are individually finished and each has a peaceful ambience, with plenty of natural light and French doors giving access to the courtyard. You can leave them open on a balmy summers night and let the fresh country air drift in whilst you sleep. The bedrooms all sleep 2, with an additional single bed available at an extra charge; beds are zip and link (superking or twin) and the en suites have good sized showers. A real bonus is that Beaverbrook 20 has temperature controlled air conditioning throughout - ensuring year round maximum comfort.

And that spa hall - WOW! With full length windows and a door onto the garden, the centre piece is a 10m x 5m heated pool with plenty of space around it for relaxing loungers. At the end of the hall is a fabulous 3m sunken jacuzzi (oh, the bubbles!) and a big indulgent sauna where you can sit and chat whilst enjoying a luxurious deep cleanse! Pull back the doors of the spa hall and step outside to a sunny patio area with bespoke rustic garden furniture and a barbecue; the brick-walled garden has a lawn and a sturdy play train so the children can lark about before you all gather together under the fairy lights in the Nordic style BBQ lodge.
