Salisbury, Wiltshire

Surrounded by lush water meadows and verdant green countryside, Salisbury is a wonderful city to visit when you’re spending time in Wiltshire whilst on your UK family holiday, and it’s easy to pass a day here browsing the historic streets full of quintessential timbered buildings, big name and independent shops, and a variety of eateries from restaurants and cafes, to pubs and bars. A visit to the majestic medieval cathedral is a must, with beautiful stained glass, and in the Chapter House, you can see the original 1215 Magna Carta, one of only four in the world.
