Cottage With A Hot Tub In Devon, Sleeps 6

Have you seen Hill View? OMG as they say, the interiors are gooooorgeous, so if you’re looking for a cottage with a hot tub in Devon that sleeps 6, get yourself comfy and have a good gander at this beauty. There’s actually snooze space for up to 16 guests, so plenty of room for a single household or support bubble in these current times, or for a bigger group in the future. Otherwise, get on to it right now to take advantage of our fabulous 6 Guest Special offers.

Seriously, those 6 Guest Special Offers that we have for Hill View this autumn and winter certainly aren’t to be scoffed at.  A midweek stay in November for just £900? That’s just £150 per person, or £37.50 per night! A whole week for £1200 – do you realise that’s only £200 per person, or £28.57 per night! That is incredible – where else would you get a big cottage with a hot tub in Devon to sleep 6 people all to yourself for those kind of prices??  You wouldn’t even get such a bargain at a half decent hotel, and even if you did, there would be other people there, STRANGERS! And you’d have to share things with them! There’s the crucial difference - for considerably less money Hill View is ALL YOURS!

Ah, just think… feet up, log fire blazing every evening, big fat roast dinners, lazy lie-ins, time to just potter around, sitting by the window looking out over the valley, or even better, getting out there in the hot tub for a lovely jubbly soak watching the sheep ambling slowly on the hillside. Even if the weather’s not on your side, it doesn’t matter because an autumn or winter break is all about reconnecting, just having good quality downtime together, forgetting about what a crazy place the world has become. Leave that all behind, close the door, turn the key and just be.

Take a little time to get organised and bring board games, a pack of cards, maybe a sketch book. Play good old fashioned parlour games like I-Spy and Charades – or Hide-And-Seek; order online with Dart Fresh and have a big box of local produce delivered to Hill View for your arrival, spend an afternoon baking, or even better, have your own version of Bake Off!. Download your favourite films, snuggle up on the sofas for a movie night, big bowls of popcorn to share. And here’s a good one – there’s an island in the kitchen at Hill View and the worktop is inlaid with 2p pieces, all heads up except for three; how long will it take you to find them?

How quirky is that, that worktop? We love that idea! That’s what Hill View is like though, you get in and start looking around and before you know it you’re planning a complete revamp of your interiors at home! This is wonderful, so cool, so stylish; it’s modern, it’s rustic, there’s a raw industrial edge to it, but you know what? It works so well, and it gives the house such a unique character. It’s amazing what they’ve done here – don’t forget, this used to be a dairy on a busy working farm, but you’d never know it. The farmers still live here, in a cottage across the yard at the back of Hill View and they’re a mine of local information, so anything you need to know, anything you want, just ask them.

They can recommend places to take the children, the best beaches, good walks, and so on; even things like mobile beauty therapists if you fancy a spot of pampering, or if you like the idea of taking a week off from thinking about what’s for dinner and all the slicing and dicing that goes with it, they can suggest professional caterers who can come in and cook for you. This is something that a lot of our guests do if they’re having a few days away to celebrate a significant birthday or a remarkable anniversary, that sort of thing. Hire caterers to cook you a scrumptious feast, have a birthday cake delivered, flowers, the lot, make the most of it.

If you fancy checking out the local area whilst you’re here, well, why not, this is a lovely little corner of the world and the beauty of it is that’s it’s unspoilt; high-hedged lanes, quiet villages, immeasurable fresh air. Pull your boots on, get out for a walk; there are waymarked footpaths that lead you through the fields and woodlands of the rolling East Devon landscape. Just a 10 minute drive away is the sleepy fishing village of Beer on the Jurassic Coast; go there and join the South West Coast Path for bracing clifftop walks, or explore the dramatic undercliff between Beer and Branscombe. Further along the coast is Lyme Regis, always a delight for a stroll about; walk along the historic Cobb, wander up through the town gardens and back down the main street; treat yourselves to a proper job pasty from one of the baker’s shops.

Go to Colyton, it’s only a couple of miles and if you wander up to the station you can have a bite to eat at the Tramstop Café and browse the wares at The Vintage Shed before you board the tram to Seaton for a visit to Seaton Jurassic. Whilst you’re there have a stroll along the beach to The Hideaway Café tucked away between the cliffs not far from the rockpools; equally nice is Axmouth Harbour Beach where you can watch the fishermen coming back with their catch, and it’s a good one if you’ve got the pet pooch with you because there are no restrictions on the beach.

Sometimes when you feel you need a break it’s just about finding the perfect change of scenery, somewhere you feel you could really relax, somewhere that becomes a very special place that you want to come back to time and time again, with friends, with family, or just by yourselves. That’s exactly what Hill View is like, it quickly becomes yours whilst you’re here. It’s a place to unwind, a place to make very special memories. Don't miss our 6 Guest Special Offers! Book today!
