Take A38 heading south signposted North Petherton and Taunton. Pass through North Petherton. About 3 miles south of North Petherton take a left turn onto the A361 signposted Glastonbury. Continue through the village of West Lyng to the village of East Lyng, at the end of the road markings turn right into Cutts Road. At the T junction turn right into Stanmoor Road, Walnut Arbour is to be found after 1 mile on the left hand side immediately after the first turning to the left on a left hand bend.
From the A303 heading East
Leave the A303 at Ilminster turning left onto the A358, continue on this road for approximately 8 miles until you reach the Thornflacon traffic lights. Turn right onto the A378 (signposted Langport) then after approximately 100yds turn left onto Solomans Hollow signposted to North Curry and Stoke St Gregory. Continue on this road through the village of North Curry and past the Stoke St Gregory village sign. You will pass the Willow & Wetlands Visitor Centre on your left after 0.5 mile turn left into Curload (The Post Office is just past the entrance to Curload on the right hand side). Walnut Arbour will be found at the bottom of the hill on the right hand side after approximately 500yds.
From the A303 heading West
You can either follow the A303 to Ilminster then turn right onto the A358 and follow the instructions above. Or for the more adventurous leave the A303 at the Podimore roundabout taking the A372 signposted to Langport, as you approach Langport you will come to a sharp right hand bend signposted All Through Traffic, turn left here (Church on your right) and continue straight on under the Hanging Chapel and down the hill to a T junction, turn left and continue on the A378 over the River Parrot. After 500 yds turn right signposted to Burrowbridge, you will see the signs for Hurds Hill residential home just before the turning on the left hand side. Continue on this road for approximately 2.5 mile (single carriageway in places) until you come to the hamlet of Stathe turn left signposted to Stoke St Gregory, continue on this road for approximately 2 miles until you come to a T junction on a sharp bend. Turn right (though in effect straight on) up the hill passing the Post Office on your left after 50 yds turn right into Curload, Walnut Arbour will be found at the bottom of the hill on the right hand side after approximately 500yds.
