- Clearwell Caves
Clearwell Caves are now a working mining museum where visitors can see impressive caverns with geological and mining displays. Iron ore from the Caves has been used over many centuries to make tools, weapons and machinery. Some forms of the iron ore occurs in powder form, red, yellow, purple and brown ochre; they are highly valued as pigments and still mined at Clearwell Caves. The Caves are an important, but until now, a little known part of the Forest of Dean's history and environment.
- Wyedean Canoe & Adventure Centre
The Wyedean Canoe and Adventure Centre is set in the beautiful Symonds Yat Gorge. Surrounded by the placid waters of the River Wye and the breathtaking cliffs and woodlands of Symonds Yat Rock. One can take on an unparalleled range of outdoor pursuits. They cater for everyone from the individual to organised groups and companies alike, from the novice to expert.
- Pedalabikeaway Cycle Centre
Bike hire for all ages and abilities. Open all year - closed Mondays except school holidays. Cafe, repairs workshop, cycle spares shop, toilets/showers and bike wash available. Centrepoint for all cycle tracks.
- Go Ape
Climb the trees and slide across high wires, crawl through tunnels, cross rope bridges, walk the planks and zip down to the ground! Go Ape is an award-winning high wire forest adventure course of rope bridges, tarzan swings and zip slides up to 40 feet up in the trees. Appealing to a wide age range, customers are fitted with a climbing harness, given instructions, and then trek from tree to tree high above the forest floor.

- Whitecliff Off Road Centre Ltd
Experience an exciting day out, off road driving in a safe, but challenging environment. Whitecliff Off Road Centre. It is run by qualified, Lantra & Borda instructors who are experienced in competitions such as Hill Rallies, British Safari Championships and 4x4 Off road club trial challenges throughout the UK. They cater for beginners to advanced levels, extreme conditions to winching & recovery courses. A variety of Land Rovers and Range Rovers are carefully maintained, ensuring an excellent safety record. The 4x4 driving site, with its variety of surfaces is one of the best in the UK and offers a range of difficulty, obstacles and terrain.
