Ground Floor

Once inside, the entrance hall leads into the "chairman's turret", which has an original wide, carpeted, stone staircase that was designed for taking people to the Roman Baths in a sedan chair straight from their rooms. The entrance hall has now been fully restored and renovated and presents a arm and welcoming aspect to visitors on arrival.

The main dining room is tastefully decorated and has two dining tables with seating for twelve, period chandeliers and a exquisite Regency fireplace. There is a secret entrance from this room to a shower/toilet room behind a hidden door.

The main kitchen is a long and well-lit room and the centre of activity for cooks employed in the past. The kitchen is tastefully decorated and fitted throughout with solid beech work tops and a refurbished oak floor. The Aga conributes an authentically county house note to the kitchen, which also has a dishwasher, fridge, freezer and cutlery and tableware setting for 14.

At the back of the house is The Forum, a twin-bedded room which has a cosy, tranquil ambience.

First Floor

The Pavillion. In the past this was the music room, constructed with an interestingly curved ceiling to improve the acoustics. Recently renovated and fully furnished it now has twin beds.

The Library is a very relaxing room with period furniture and fittings including comfy leather chairs and a marble fireplace. A perfect setting for getting through the Sunday papers in peace.

Sitting Room - This large, light, comfortable room stretches the entire width of the house. It has three generous sofas, a splendid antique coffee table and for your more modern requirements, a large TV with Sky multi-channel services.

A bright bathroom with luxuriously large bath and limestone floors.

Third Floor

Second kitchen/breakfast room, which is less formal and can seat six. it is well equipped with a modern electric hob and oven, dishwasher, fridge freezer, washing machine and microwave.

The Landsdown bedroom is a spacious double room, The Abbey is a twin room and The Ralph Allen room is a twin room.

Another bathroom on this floor again has limestone floors and is light and spacious.

The top floor has 2 double bedrooms.
