The cottages are unusual in that the bedrooms and bathrooms are downstairs and the daily living area is upstairs, this makes the most of the spectacular views.

Downstairs opens into a large enclosed south-facing courtyard with barbeque equipment and outdoor furniture supplied - a real suntrap.

Upstairs opens onto a small lawn beyond which lies the car parking area and a Ramblers' Association footpath.

The cottages are cosy, yet light and airy and full of charm. Each has double-glazing throughout and a traditional wood burner upstairs.

Upstairs, each cottage is open-plan with a wood-effect floor, attractive window shutters, high ceilings, with beautifully equipped kitchen and dining area. Each kitchen has a fridge and electric cooker with fan assisted oven and seperate grill. There are 2 dishwashers.

Each sitting room is well equipped with TV, video and music system.


The bedrooms are carpeted and electrically heated. Each cottage has a washing machine.

Shippen Cottage has 1 King Size Bedroom, 1 Double Bedroom and 1 Twin Room
Cider Cottage has 1 Double Bedroom and 1 Twin Room
Stable Cottage has 1 King Size and has a bathroom suitable for a wheelchair user.

Just next door, the drying room  is equipped with a freezer and tumble dryer for general use.

Towels and bed linen are provided.  Monday or Friday changeovers. NO FIREWORKS OR SKY LANTERNS

Pets by arrangement £20 charge. Non-smokers only. Friday-Friday. Short breaks available all year round.
