Walnut Arbour welcomes well behaved dogs - isn't that great news! It means there's no need to leave your pet pooch behind in kennels when you come here for your large group stay - you can bring him along too, and we can guarantee he'll have a great time as there are plenty of walks, long and short, right on your doorstep. Walnut Arbour is situated on the edge of the beautiful Somerset Levels, a magical flat landscape where you can stroll through fields, along the ancient drover's tracks and the waterways (they call them rhynes, pronounced reens). Not far away is mystical Glastonbury Tor and a climb to the top is rewarded with the most stunning panormamic views of the Somerset countryside and beyond. Equally awesome is Burrow Mump, and if you fancy a day out exploring with your furry friend head for the Blackdown Hills, or the wild and rugged Quantocks; both have AONB status and are dotted with charming villages - and most of the pubs are dog friendly. If you're heading to the seaside for the day, you'll find several dog friendly beaches on the Somerset, the East Devon and Jurassic coasts, though be aware that seasonal restrictions may apply in some areas.
