Stephens Party - November 2017
10/10 - Excellent. We'd recommend days out to: Somerset Steam Train, Dunster Castle, beach at Watchet, Lynton & Lynmouth. For those who like ‘interesting druving’ don’t forget the toll road drives through Porlock private estate woodlands.
Lashmar Family - November 2017
10/10 - The Old Rectory was the perfect spacious house for families holidaying together. We all loved the hot tub. The house also had great play equipment for the children, indoors and out. We visited West Somerset Railway and Dunster Castle and village. Booking through sleeps12 was an easy experience and when I emailed a couple of time with questions I received replies very quickly. I would recommend sleeps12 to others.
Marshall Family - August 2017
10/10 - The house was beautifully prepared for us. Gayla Stewart prepared a delicious celebration meal for us. We visited Dunster Castle and working mill (in operation on Wednesdays), Fyne Court National Trust (free admission - nice walks and tea room), Fossil beaches at Warren Bay and East Quantoxhead during our stay.
White Family - July 2017
9/10 - The games room was well used and the living rooms were really beautiful and well furnished. The kids missed a swimming pool but the fabulous games room and outdoor space made up for it. A great holiday.
Johnson Family - July 2017
10/10 - All fabulous. An outside shower next to the hot tub would be helpful. We went to Afternoon Tea at Chantry in Kilve - lovely.
Slate Family - June 2017
10/10 - Everything was perfect.
Sands - April 2017
10/10 - Loved the facilities for children, happy children equal happy adults. Lots of bathrooms with lovely towels and toiletries. Hot tub was a huge success. Gorgeous views added to our enjoyment. We visited Dunster Castle, Somerset Railway, Cleeve Abbey, Cider Farm (for little children and adults who like cider!)
Naudi - April 2017
10/10 - We had such a lovely time in such a beautiful house and location, only wish we had more time to explore the surrounding areas. Thank you for being so accommodating regarding the activities brought to the venue.
Deniro - March 2017
9/10 - We had a really awesome time staying in The Old Rectory, what a lovely property finished to a very high standard and in such great condition! The hot tub, table tennis/pool table and the huge baths were group favourites!
All the little touches made our stay really special i.e. the bath robes, toiletries, milk in the fridge and the well equipped kitchen! I'd like to say a special thank you for arranging the additional mattress for us and helping me out with my Tesco delivery when I arrived. A country walk starting in Kilve and circling along by the coast. The coastline is not to be missed, very impressive.
Caddle - March 2017
The house and grounds were all amazing, we had 12 adults and 5 children and found the layout of the house just perfect. We were celebrating our Mum and Dads diamond wedding anniversary, so we had ages from 1 to 81! We will definitely go back! It was everything and more, just the most perfect weekend and memories to cherish.
The Midwinter Family - Kenilworth
Photos don't do it justice especially the space, kitchen and hot tub. Host was very lovely and couldn't do enough for us. Property has been restored and furnished to the highest possible standard
