A lovely big entrance hall has an elegant dining room off to one side; this is a light and airy room with many period features and a window to the front of the house. The dining room leads through to the well appointed kitchen which is bright and spacious and well equipped with all modern appliances and a roomy breakfast bar.
Opposite the dining room is a sitting room with a big flatscreen TV, a log burner, and plenty of big comfy sofas; next to this is the graceful drawing room with a beautiful feature fireplace housing a traditonal style woodburning stove and classic Chesterfield leather sofas. Both of these rooms enjoy a delightful outlook over the front gardens.
The games room is accessed from the drawing room or from the hall and has a pool table that can be quickly converted into a table tennis table. A further reception room is the library which can be found to the side of the dining room; with another TV and a good DVD collection, this is a great space for children and teenagers to while away an afternoon.
The bedrooms are a very unique feature of this property, comprised of 6 suites with 9 rooms in total, arranged over two floors. All are named after the previous rectors and their wives, who lived here.

The Billington and Hellier Suites are very good sizes and have their own ensuite bathrooms. The Hellier has a larger than average bath strategically placed to enjoy sea views from the tub - bliss!
Also on the first floor is the Stannard suite; situated to the rear of the property, overlooking the pretty courtyard, it has a good sized ensuite bathroom.
At the end of the first floor landing is a staircase leading down to the kitchen. The main staircase continues to the second floor, where there are two further suites comprised of 4 bedrooms.
Both of these suites, The Elrington and The Alford have big bedrooms and ample shared bathrooms.
In the Elrington Suite, the huge bath is set in a separate alcove within the bathroom - a lovely and luxurious feature. .
The Old Rectory has wonderfully large, part-walled grounds with mature trees and prettily laid out planting. The front gardens are a pleasure to sit in and enjoy the stunning sea views, or to play croquet on the lawns. The courtyard patio is a good place to socialise, with plenty of sturdy garden furniture, a barbecue, and a big hot tub to relax in. For the younger members of your party there's some fun to be had on the chunky play equipment and trampoline, as well as the ample gardens to run about in and let off steam.
