In a previous guise The Granary and Barns formed part of a busy working farm deep in the Somerset countryside, with a backdrop of the beautiful Quantock Hills. A recent project has seen these barns undergo a complete transformation into a remarkable, spacious and stylish large group holiday accommodation. Think seriously big - these properties can sleep up to 44 people in 21 en suite bedrooms, so if you're looking for somewhere for a large group holiday to remember, or to celebrate something special, this is for you. Bright and airy, with loads of space inside and out, with a heated indoor pool, 2 big hot tubs and an awesome BBQ lodge this is hard to beat. An added benefit is that much of the accommodation offers personal space for those who appreciate a bit of downtime when part of a larger group. There's heaps of parking and surrounded by glorious Somerset countryside, there's privacy to ensure the perfect happy celebration or relaxing holiday.

The rugged beauty of the Quantock Hills is more or less on the doorstep so don't miss the opportunity to explore this varied landscape of high ridges, open heaths, shady forests and open fields. Plenty of scope for country walks with some incredible far reaching views, stretching across to Wales and the Brecon Beacons on a clear day. With such a big group getting about and about together may not be so easy, but if you plan ahead you can have some great day trips - perhaps just to one of the local pubs for a relaxing lunch, or why not head off to Exmoor for the day and book up in advance for a cream tea, or go to one of the beaches on the North Somerset coast. There's a fun day out to be had on the West Somerset Railway and you can book a carriage ahead of your stay - a great way to add excitement to any large group celebration.

If you're not planning on going out much, take a look at our Extras pages and book up some of our tried and tested caterers to come in to create a huge feast for all to tuck into, or how about some pampering, or professional photographs of your time here? Go horse riding or clay pigeon shooting, or if you're a Hen Party get in a private cocktail bartender to create some heady mixes to put you in celebratory mood!
