Riverside welcomes well behaved dogs so no need to leave your furry friend behind when you come for your UK holiday or group stay. Your pet pooch can join in all the fun, with lots of gorgeous walks amidst beautiful countryside right from your doorstep.

You'll love an early morning stroll along the banks of the River Tone, with a backdrop of glorious far reaching views, and it's not far to the the unique landscape of the Somerset Levels where you can walk through the fields, and along the rhynes (pronounced REENS) and old drover's tracks - there's something very special about treading the oldways of the people who worked this land in days gone by, whilst your dog bounds happily ahead of you.

There are some charming village pubs in this area and most are dog friendly, so if you fancy winding up at a country inn for a pint of the local brew or a lazy lunch, your four legged friend can come too. Not far away are the Blackdown Hills with a network of footpaths and bridle ways to explore, or further afield you and your pet can climb the famous Tor at Glastonbury to be rewarded with panoramic views of the Somerset countryside and beyond.

The beaches of the North Somerset and Jurassic coasts are within easy reach, and though some have seasonal restrictions, several are dog friendly year round, so your favourite animal can happliy splash in the sea before heading home for a game of fetch in the garden, and perhaps some scraps from your barbecue.

Pets are welcome at Riverside strictly by prior arrangement only - please contact the office to arrange this.  A small charge of £50 per dog will be added to your booking total. There are certain doggie rules which must be adhered to; do make sure you have read these before arranging to bring your pet with you.
