Here are a few frequently asked questions that may help you plan your stay at Millgrove

What time can we arrive at Millgrove?

The arrival time for this property is 4pm. Please do not arrive any earlier than this as we can not allow you to enter the property. We need to prepare the house fully for your stay and so need the time beween bookings to do this. If you think you may be later than 4pm so call the property owner and let us know your estimated time of arrival. Their contact details can be found in your check in information.

How do I find the property?

There are comprehensive directions provided in the My Booking section. Once you have made a booking you'll be able to access this from the sleeps12 homepage. Please use these instructions rather than Sat Nav as this can sometimes take you past the turning for the property. Please also pass these instructions to all members of your group.

We are planning on making a real day of it travelling down to the property. We can't access the property until 4pm, can you recommend anywhere we could stop for a wander or something fun to do nearby?

Great idea! We can't let you access the property before 4pm but spending some time getting to know Somerset would be a great idea. A stop in Taunton would be a good choice, Taunton is a county town with the usual high street shops and resturants. There is a high ropes course there too in Vivary Park for those who are more adventurous! A visit to the River Tone is good for stretching your legs or why not have a real trat and book a train ride on the West Somerset Railway?

Does this property require a cautionary deposit?

This property owner may require a cautionary deposit of up to £750 three weeks before your arrival. They will contact you directly to arrange this. More details about cautionary deposits can be found on this link.

We are thinking of inviting people over for the day is this allowed at your property?

Unfortunately this is not allowed at any of the sleeps12 properties. This is clearly set out in the Terms and Conditions that should have been read at the time of booking. There is a maximum occupancy for each property that must not be exceeded for insurance purposes and every person who is a guest at the property must be added to the booking including their names and ages. If you think you may have invited people to visit then you must call the office so that relevant permissions can be obtained from the owners of the property. This is due to health and safety regulations as well as insurances.

Can I have a food delivery to the property?

Yes, you can arrange to have a food delivery to the property when you arrive or during your stay. We ask that delivery slots are made for after the arrival time of 4pm and that you are there to receive the delivery personally. We recommend that you put your mobile number and name on the delivery information. The following shops will deliver to this property: Asda, Waitrose, Sainsburys, Tesco and COOK. 

How do I access the property on the day of my stay? Will the owner meet me there or do I have to find the keys?

All of your check-in information is provided for you about 4 weeks before your arrival. You will be emailed a link to this once it is available. You can view your check-in information by logging into the My Booking section of our website using your booking reference number and your email address. Then you'll be able to see the owner's contact details (in case you are going to arrive later than 4pm) as well as how to access the key if a key lock is provided. There will also be comprehensive directions - please take the time to view these and don't rely on SatNav! The owner will contact you a few days before you arrive to confirm your estimated arrival time. 

What time do we need to depart from Millgrove?

Check out time is 9.30 at Millgrove. Please make sure that you are packed and ready to leave by this time. The cleaners will arrive promptly and will need access to the property to start the cleaning and maintenace.

What is supplied for us in the property?

The property owners supply the following items: Enough crockery and glasses for a dinner party, Tea, coffee, sugar, salt and pepper, washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets (at least 6), 2 toilet rolls per toilet, tea towels, kitchen foil, cling film, bin bags, hand soap, complimentary shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, all bed linen, dish cloths, oven gloves, kitchen roll, cot sheets, cot mattress sheets, bath robes, bath and hand towels. Please ensure you bring your own towels for the pool or hot tub. We also recommend bringing flip flops for going out to the pool or hot tub. 

How should we leave the property when we depart?
It is important that your departure in no later than 9.30am.
We expect all rubbish to be bagged up and left outside the front of the property.
All washing up from your stay should have been done and put away with the dishwasher loaded with your final load and then turned on before you leave.
The kitchen table and kitchen surfaces to be wiped down.
Any spillages to be cleaned up during your stay
Please check all rooms to ensure that nothing is left behind.
Any furniture that has been moved during your stay, please return to its original position.
We do not expect beds to be stripped and all towels etc can be left in bathrooms
We are more understanding if any damage is notified asap
As we do not stay at the property we rely on our guests informing us of anything that is missing from the property or if anything is not working correctly.

Does this property allow 2 night breaks?

Unfortunately two night breaks are not advertised for Millgrove. Our weekend breaks are Friday 4pm - Moday 9.30am. If you only wanted to stay two nights then you could and check out at any time on the Sunday but the price would remain the same as a three night break. 

Are dogs allowed at Millgrove?

No unfortunately dogs are not allowed at this property. We do have many other dog friendly properties though so please take a look at the properties on this link

Is there a BBQ at this property?

Yes there is a gas BBQ and the gas is supplied for this. The BBQ is available Easter to the end of October. 

What facilities are provided for children? We dont want them to be bored!

There is obviously a large garden and the fabulous swimming pool at Millgrove. There is also childrens play equipment at Millgrove, a trampoline and an outside table tennis table. 

How big is the pool at Millgrove?

The pool is a large 10m x 5m and varies in depth between 1m at the shallow end to 2 m at the deep end. 

Is there a hot tub at this property?

There will be! Coming soon....... a brand new hot tub is being added in March!

Is there a music system at this property?

There is an iPod docking station at Millgrove and a CD player too. 

I see there is an open fire at Millgrove, do we need to bring our own logs?

Yes, there is an open fire at this property and yes you will need to bring your own logs for this. 

How many TVs are there at this property and is there SKY TV?

There are 9 TVs in total and yes this proeprty does have SKY TV. 

Does this property accept hen and stag parties?

This property does welcome relaxed hen and stag groups. None of our sleeps12 houses are designed to be party venues and so groups thinking of holding a more relaxed, quiet affair may like to book this property. Consideration is needed for neighbours, if you are unsure if this property is suitable for your hen or stag break then do contact the office to discuss this with us. 

How do we book EXTRAS that are listed on the website?

It is great that you are looking to further enhance your stay while in this property! Thank you for using one of our recommended suppliers that we have mentioned in our EXTRAS for the property. Please contact them and arrange this. Once it has been arranged you will need to let us know by email or phone call who you have booked, when they are coming and how many people there will be. We need this information for insurance purposes.
