Ilbeare welcomes well behaved dogs, which is great news as it means there's no need to leave your faithful friend behind in kennels when you come to stay here - so pack the lead, and the bowls, and the toys, cos' doggy's going to have a holiday too! There's certainly plenty to keep that tail wagging, with walks in the countryside right on your doorstep, and the glorious Quantock Hills just a few miles away with heaps of footpaths and bridleways, woodland walks and coastal paths. A little further afield are the Blackdown Hills, or the mystical Somerset Levels, both with a plethora of walks of varying lengths amidst gorgeous scenery. If you're planning a day at the seaside, you'll find several dog friendly beaches on the Somerset and Jurassic coasts, though be aware that some may have seasonal restrictions.
