What time can I arrive at the property?
The check in time for Holemoor Stables is 4pm. Unfortunately, it's not possible for you to arrive earlier than this as we will be busy preparing the property for your stay. If you think you might be earlier then why not stop at one of the recommended pubs or vist the nearby towns of Chard or Taunton?
Does this property require a cautionary deposit?
This property owner may require a cautionary deposit of up to £500 three weeks before your arrival. They will contact you directly to arrange this. More details about cautionary deposits can be found on this link.
Does this property allow two night stays?
Yes, this property has a two night weekend option. The two night breaks are from 4pm on Friday to 4pm on Sunday; we must ask that you leave the promptly by 4pm, otherwise you run the risk of being charged for extra time in the property or having some, or possibly all, of your cautionary deposit held rather than being returned.
Can I have a food delivery to the property?
You can arrange to have a food delivery to the property on your arrival or during your stay. We ask that delivery slots are made for after the arrival time of 4pm and that you are there to receive the delivery personally. We recommend that you ensure that you put your mobile number and name on the delivery information. The following shops will deliver to this property: Asda, Waitrose, Sainsburys, Tesco and COOK.
Are there any local pubs that we could stop at on the way or visit while we are staying at this property?
Try the Five Dials at Horton, just over 4 miles away, or the New Inn at Dowlish Wake - a pretty little village with a cider mill, also about 4 miles away. The Haymaker Inn at Wadeford is gaining a good reputation and is just a couple of miles up the road.
What can we find supplied for us in the property?
There is enough crockery, cutlery and glasses for a dinner party, at least 1 toilet roll per toilet, salt and pepper, tea, coffee, sugar, washing-up-liquid, dishwasher tablets (10), tea towels, dish cloth and scourer sponge, oven gloves, kitchen roll, kitchen foil, cling film, bin bags, 2 in 1 washing tablets (6), hand soap, welcome pack of shower gel, shampoo, hand soap and body lotion, hair dryers in all bedrooms, all bed linen, cot mattress sheets, bath robes, bath towels and hand towels are supplied - WE RECOMMEND BRINGING EXTRA TOWELS FOR THE SWIMMING POOL AND FOOT WEAR (FLIP FLOPS) FOR GOING OUT TO THE POOL.
Is there a BBQ at Holemoor Stables?
There is a charcoal BBQ at Holemoor Stables; please note that charcoal is not provided so you will need to bring your own.
Is there a music system at Holemoor Stables?
There is a Blue Ray player at Holemoor Stables. A USB connection is needed to play music via your iPod or phones - you will need to bring this with you.
Is there WiFi at the property?
There is WiFi at the property but please be aware that Holemoor Stables is in a rural location and so the speed may not be as quick as you are used to. More information can be found here. We would recommend that you download anything that you might need before your stay to avoid being disappointed.
We have young children in our group are there any toddler beds or cots that we could use?
Holemoor Stables has 2 toddler beds suitable for under 4s, and 2 cots. These can be placed in the larger of the rooms, bedrooms - 3,4,5,7,8 or 9. You will need to request these when you complete your bedroom configurations.
Is this property dog friendly?
Unfortunately Holemoor Stables does not allow dogs.
Are hen parties and stag parties allowed here?
We do accept responsible hen and stag groups. Our properties are not designed to be party houses so would suit a more relaxed hen or stag group looking for luxury accommodation with plenty of facilities. Please ensure that you read all of the Terms and Conditions for this property before making your decision as to whether or not this property is suitable for you. There must be no outside noise or music after 11pm.
How big is the swimming pool at Holemoor Stables?
The pool is 10m x 5m and a constant depth of 1.2m.
