You don't need to worry about sending your four legged friend off to kennels when you come to stay at Henfield Barn; well behaved dogs are welcome so there's no need to leave him behind; so pack the lead and the bowls, the toys and the special towel because he's going to join in the fun too! Henfield Barn enjoys a peaceful rural location so there's plenty of opportunities for exercise with your pet pooch; a network of footpaths and narrow country lanes are waiting to be explored, or you can stroll around some of the nearby villages and finish up at a dog friendly country pub for a lazy pub lunch. You'll find ample walking opportunities along The Dramway path, once used to carry coal from Yate down to the River Avon; the path takes you along disused railway lines, through quiet country lanes, with hills that gently slope down to the River Avon; or at Coalpit Heath you'll find interesting heritage walks passing historic buildings. If you fancy something more urban head for the vibrant cities of Bath or Bristol and strutt your mutt through the historic streets and parks; if you venture off to the coast for the day you'll find several dog friendly beaches along the North Somerset coast, though bear in mind that there may be seasonal restrictions. And of course, back at Henfield Barn, there's plenty of space to play in the garden, so all in all a happy dog and a happy holiday for all!
