What time can I arrive at the property?
The check in time for Culmbridge House is 4pm. We can not allow you to arrive earlier than this as we will be busy preparing for your stay. If you think you might be earlier then why not stop at one of the recommended pubs or vist the nearby towns of Wellington or Taunton?
Does this property require a cautionary deposit?
This property owner may require a cautionary deposit of up to £500 three weeks before your arrival. They will contact you directly to arrange this. More details about cautionary deposits can be found on this link.
Does this property allow two night stays?
Yes, this property has a two night weekend option. The two night breaks commence at 4pm on Friday and departure is by 4pm on Sunday. Please ensure that you have left the property promptly by 4pm. You run the risk of being charged for extra time in the property or having some, if not all, of your cautionary deposit held rather than being returned if you are found to be in or have been in the property after the 4pm departure time.
Can I have a food delivery to the property?
Yes you can arrage to have a food delivery to the property on your arrival or during your stay. We ask that delivery slots are made for after the arrival time of 4pm and that you are there to receive the delivery personally. We recommend that you ensure that you put your mobile number and name on the delivery information. The following shops will deliver to this property: Asda, Waitrose, Sainsburys, Tesco and COOK.

What can we find supplied for us in the property?
The property owners ensure that there is enough crockery, cutlery and glasses for a dinner party. At least two toilet rolls per toilet, salt and peper, tea, coffee, sugar, washing up liquid, dishwasher tabs x 6, tea towels, dish cloth, bin bags, hand soap. All bed linen, cot mattress sheets, bath towels and hand towels are supplied. WE RECOMMEND BRINGING EXTRA TOWELS FOR THE SWIMMING POOL AND FOOTWEAR FOR GOING OUT TO THE POOL.
How do I access the property on the day of my stay? Will the owner meet me there or do I have to find the keys?
All of your check in information is provided for you about 4 weeks before your arrival. You will be emailed a link to this once it is available. You can view this check in information if you log into the My Booking section of the website using your booking reference number and your email address. On the check in information you'll be able to see the owners contact details in case you are going to be later than 4pm as well as how to access the key if a key lock is provided.
Is there a BBQ at this property?
There is a BBQ at Culmbridge House. You will need to supply your own charcoal for this.
Are dogs allowed at Culmbridge House?
No, unfortunately dogs are not allowed at Culmbridge House.
The pool looks like it is seperate from the property, is this correct?
The pool is located about 90 paces from the property. You access this by walking around the outside of the owners house, along the quiet lane to the pool. The pool is locked at 10pm every day. The pool is private and for your use only.
How big is the swimming pool?
The pool is big at 12m x 4m and the depth ranges between 1.2m to 1.8m.
Is there WiFi at the property?
There is WiFi at the property but please be aware that Culmbridge House is in a rural location and so the speeds may not be as quick as you are used to. More information can be found here. We would recommend that you download anything that you might need before your stay to avoid being disappointed.
There is a lovely wood burner at this property, are we allowed to use it?
Yes, there is a woodburner at Culmbridge House and logs are provided for this in Winter months.
We have young children and babies does Culmbridge House have any toddler beds or cots?
Culmbridge House is very well equipped for babies and toddlers with a host of equipment available to you. There are two travel cots and two toddler beds. They can also provide 2 folding bed rails, 2 high chairs a potty step/stool and a changing mat! All of these pieces of baby equipment can be requested when completing your bedroom configurations.
Are hen parties and stag parties allowed here?
We do accept responsible hen and stag groups. Our properties are not designed to be party houses so would suit a more relaxed hen or stag group looking for luxury accommodation with plenty of facilities.
