Here are some useful frequently asked questions that may help you plan your stay at Cobbleside

What time can I access Cobbleside on the day of my stay?

Arrival time is 4pm for all breaks. Please dop not arrive earlier than this as we can not be sure that the proeprty will be ready for you. We may still have cleaners in the proeprty or be doing scheduled maintenance. We wouldn't want to to have to wait. 

What time should I leave after my stay?

Departure time is 10am. Please ensure that you are packed up and ready to leave by this time as the owners will need to allow the cleaning teams access to the property to make the proeprty ready for the next guests.

How do I access the property once we have arrived?

The property owner will meet you on arrival at 4pm. If you are running late please contact them on the number provided in your check in information. You'll be able to access this about 4 weeks before your arrival date. This will be emailed to alert you and you'll be able to log into the My Booking section of the sleeps12 homepage if you want to access it again. We suggest that you make a note of all information contained in the check in information and pass to all other guests. If for any reason the owner is unable to meet you the key safe will habe a key and the number will be found in the check in information. 

What is the address for Cobbleside?

The address can be found on the property page including the postcode for food delivery orders. Please use the directions that are found in the My Booking section as these are more comprehensive than using Sat Nav. Please ensure that you pass these directions to all members of your party. 

Does this property require a cautionary deposit?

This property owner may require a cautionary deposit of up to £500 three weeks before your arrival. They will contact you directly to arrange this. More details about cautionary deposits can be found on this link.

We may arrive earlier than 4pm as we have been planning to miss the traffic. Can you suggest anything we could do on the way? 

Why not make the most of the day and explore Somerset. There are some great ideas for places to visit on the link. If you are looking to stop a little nearer to Milverton, where Cobbleside is located then a wander around Taunton might be nice or a stomp around Wellington Monument? Hestercombe Gardens are certainly worth visiting or there is a lovely pub The Globe in the village that is used to catering for large groups (please call ahead to make a booking)

We are thinking of inviting people over for the day is this allowed at your property?

Unfortunately this is not allowed at any of the sleeps12 properties. This is clearly set out in the Terms and Conditions that should have ben read at the time of booking. There is a maximum occupancy for each property that must not be exceeded for insurance purposes and every person who is a guest at the property must be added to the booking including their names and ages. If you think you may have invited people to visit then you must call the office so that relevant permissions can be obtained from the owners of the property. This is due to health and safety regulations as well as insurances.

What is provided for us at Cobbleside?

There is enough crockery, cutlery and glasses for a dinner party, 2 toilet rolls per toilet, Tea, Coffee, Sugar, Washing Up Liquid, Dishwasher Tablets, Tea Towels, Dish Cloth and Pan Scrub, Bin Bags, All bed linen, cot mattress sheets, bath towels and hand towels are supplied.

How should we leave the property when we depart?

We expect all rubbish to be bagged up and left outside the front of the property.
All washing up from your stay should have been done and put away with the dishwasher loaded with your final load and then turned on before you leave.
The kitchen table and kitchen surfaces to be wiped down.
Any spillages to be cleaned up during your stay
Please check all rooms to ensure that nothing is left behind.
Any furniture that has been moved during your stay, please return to its original position.
We do not expect beds to be stripped and all towels etc can be left in bathrooms
We are more understanding if any damage is notified asap
As we do not stay at the property we rely on our guests informing us of anything that is missing from the property or if anything is not working correctly.

Where is the parking for Cobbleside?

There is onstreet parking at Cobbleside on the road to the front of the property. Please park with residents and neighbours in mind. Please do not block the road when unloading and loading your vehicles. 

Are dogs allowed at Cobbleside?

Unfortunately no dogs are allowed at Cobbleside. We do have lots of other dog friendly properties that may interest you if you do need to bring your dog.

Is there a BBQ at Cobbleside?

There is a BBQ at Cobbleside, this is a charcoal BBQ but please bring your own charcoal as this is not provided. 

Is there a wood burner at the property?

There is a lovely wood burner at Cobbleside as well as an open fire. Two baskets of logs are provided for you for these.

We have a baby coming, are there any cots?

There is one cot that can be requested and this can be placed in any bedroom with the exception of bedroom 3. There is also one high chair available for use. Please request these items when completing your bedroom configurations. 

How do we book EXTRAS that are listed on the website?

It is great that you are looking to further enhance your stay while in this property! Thank you for using one of our recommended suppliers that we have mentioned in our EXTRAS for the property. Please contact them and arrange this. Once it has been arranged you will need to let us know by email or phone call who you have booked, when they are coming and how many people there will be. We need this information for insurance purposes.
