What a trannformation! From 16th, 17th and 18th century barns to luxurious self catering holiday accommodation sleeping 30 people. Beaverbrook 30 is a holiday unit comprised of two converted barns on either side of a cobbled courtyard, tucked away amidst the glorious countryside of South Somerset. It's jaw-dropping, it's spacious and it's stylish, and it's got all the conveniences you need for happy and sociable large group holidays or celebrations.

The main building is the Old Granary Barn and honestly, it's huge! A spacious hall/lobby takes you through to the capacious open-plan living space; natural light floods in through the floor to ceiling windows. This is the perfect entertaining space; there's a fully equipped kitchen to one end with a 6 ovens and 3 dishwasher, plus there's breakfast bar seating so whoever's doing the cooking doesn't need to be left out of the chit-chat. Pile the bespoke and very long dining table with food, then all 30 guests can sit round and tuck in; or why not book up one of our tried and tested professional caterers to come in cook up a lavish feast for you all? Just off the kitchen is a spacious utility room with a washing machine and tumble dryer, and a WC.

At the other end of this huge living space are comfy sofas and a big TV - so you see, there's plenty of room for your whole party to congregate together; what a great holiday!

Off the living area is Bedroom 1; with it's own ample wet room, this room is access friendly, with French doors leading out to the central courtyard. It sleeps 5 people (1 on a sofa bed); and has a very peaceful ambience, with an outlook over the lane where you can see the little parish church. Bedroom 2 sleeps 3 people and is also off the living space, with its own ensuite bathroom with a shower and a free standing bath.

A corridor leads from the kitchen to two more ensuite bedrooms, both sleeping 2 in superking size or twin beds.

Upstairs there are 2 WC's off a spacious landing, and a wonderful living room, with high ceilings, oak beams and natural stone walls. There are floor to ceiling windows,  big, welcoming sofas to sit on, and an inbuilt screen and projector that can be used for watching TV or for showing photographs!

Right opposite the living room is an amazing games room and it's got plenty to keep any bored teenagers happy! There's table tennis and a pool table, a big TV and a DVD docking station, plus Bluetooth speakers to play music. It's a great space for unwinding, with big floor cushions to sit on and a kitchen area with a sink, a dishwasher, and a drinks fridge.

Just across the courtyard is the other barn, the Tie Stalls which in its former life was a milking parlour. This has 6 ensuite bedrooms, each sleeping 3 guests; all of these rooms are light and airy with French doors that open out on to the courtyard. Leave them open on a balmy summers night and let the cool breeze drift in whilst you sleep. The beds can be arranged as a superking and a single, or as three singles and the ensuites have good sized showers. You can even set your own comfort levels at Beaverbook 30 as there is temperature controlled air conditioning throughout.

Just wait til you see the spa hall! It's accessed off the kitchen and has full height windows so the light pours in. The pool is 10m x 5m and an even 1.2m heated pool and there's plenty of room around it for relaxing loungers; doors open onto the garden so you can step outside whenever you want to. Right at the end of the hall there's a big sunken hot tub a good sized sauna - the indulgence! The walled garden has lots of space for outdoor gatherings, with sturdy furniture and a BBQ; the children can run around and let off steam and then you can and all cosy up in the quirky Nordic style BBQ lodge.

Non-smokers only. Pets by prior arrangement at a £50 charge. Friday-Friday bookings. Shortbreaks available year round. Strictly no fireworks, sky lanterns or drones.
