Directions To Hurstone
Hurstone Waterrow Taunton Somerset TA4 2ATFrom the North/East
M5 or A303/A358 to J25 at Taunton. Apprx. 17 miles.
Take the A358/A38 (duel carriageway) Toneway for Taunton passing Hankeridge Farm Retail Park – Sainsbury’s/Comet/Homebase/ Hollywood Bowl etc. Follow signs for Minehead/ Wiveliscombe, until you leave the outskirts of Taunton - Staplegrove Inn/Cross Keys Tavern. At the Cross Keys Tavern roundabout, take the B3227 for Wiveliscombe. In Wiveliscombe go straight on at the traffic lights for a further 2.5 miles until you drop down into the valley at Waterrow. You will see the Rock Inn in front of you just over the bridge and a phone box on your left, turn left here (immediately before the bridge) follow this lane almost to the top of the hill (¼ mile) Hurstone entrance is on your right, follow the drive around to the left past the first building (my house) and park in front of the house.
From the South/West
M5 to J27 or A361 to Tiverton
Leave the M5 at J27, take the A361 to roundabout at Tiverton, take the 3rd exit for Bampton, at Bampton turn right onto the B3227 towards Taunton, after 7 miles you’ll come into Waterrow, (watch your speed, it’s 30mph) Waterrow touring Park is on your right, slow right down as you come into the trees, you’ll see the The Rock Inn on your left and as the road swings right over the bridge you need to turn sharp right immediately over the bridge. Follow this lane as above.

Most Sat-Navs will take you to J26 Wellington on the M5, just be aware that this route will take you through seemingly endless single track lanes so be prepared – not a good idea in winter.
