This is situated in the tiny hamlet of Wellisford, deep in the heart of the Somerset countryside which is an area of outstanding natural beauty. If it's a relaxing peaceful break you're after, the immediate area is great for ambient walks and also offers golf, fishing and horse riding. Surrounded by rolling hills with fantastic views, this is also an excellent base for exploring the wider area. The Exmoor National Park with its beautiful and varied scenery and the magnificent Dunster Castle are only a few miles away. The charming little towns of Porlock and Lynton & Lynmouth along the west Somerset coast are easily reached, as are the inland county towns of Exeter and Taunton. The seaside resorts of Woolacombe and Exmouth make for good days out, whilst Crealy Adventure Park, the West Somerset Railway and Paignton or Bristol Zoo make for excellent family fun. The Brendon, Blackdown and Quantock Hills are also accessible, offering some diverse countryside and pretty villages.
